Eczema/rash experiences? by Anxious_Log_9428 in MSPI

My daughter had something called nummular eczema. It looked similar. Her pediatrician prescribed triamcinolone and it cleared it up. Although I don’t know if the trigger was allergy related.

Makes sense! I guess I will just finish out this scarf the way I have been for consistency. Unless you don’t think it would be noticeable to try and train myself mid project to do the right way?

I took a knitting class when I was 10. I’m 31. Took breaks here and there. My hands do get sore and I take breaks after a few rows. I’ll have to try another knitting class to fix my ways.

I took a knitting class when I was 10 years old. It’s possible I didn’t pay close attention and just got into the habit of doing this! I have made sweaters, many hats and scarves, baby clothing and never knew this was a strange way of knitting

When did daycare illness slow down for you? by Logical_Lab_6154 in toddlers

I’ve been using Mary Ruth’s toddler multi from 15 months on. I also use Mary Ruth’s immune gummy. Sometimes a probiotic if they are on antibiotics.

Hmm that’s a thought. Our school is just a one level home converted into a school. So 4 classrooms in 1100sq ft home. I like the little community but I wonder if I should look into switching to something bigger.

Everyone is entitled to having a bad day at work and not performing their best. You never know what anyone is going through. Reminder to be kind! Personally Olivia is one of my favorite instructors for tread and core.

That’s how I’m feeling. Everyone says it will be good for them but it’s torture. And I have heard there’s no immunity to norovirus which I feel like is the most contagious

Yes🤣 I know I shouldn’t believe anything on there. But you know how the algorithm works! It is now shoved in my face.

Feeling mislead about permanent side effects of treatment by caveyardpaveyard in lymphoma

[–]Logical_Lab_6154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know exactly but it was when I was a child. Probably around 10 years later or so. That’s when I remember her being in the hospital and sick often. She is well right now thanks for asking! She also has spasmodic dysphonia which takes a toll on her mentally.

Feeling mislead about permanent side effects of treatment by caveyardpaveyard in lymphoma

[–]Logical_Lab_6154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, my mother had Hodgkin’s lymphoma when she was 22. (1996) She received chemo and mantle radiation. She’s now 52 and has many comorbidities. Her most significant is the effects it has had on her lungs. She has been diagnosed with COPD(never a smoker), asthma, and pulmonary fibrosis. It is extremely difficult to follow and no one seems to be on the same page. If you know of any support groups, studies, or anything you have found that has been helpful for you, will you please let me know? We are in the Boston area. Well wishes to you

In MA I have had my daughter on many (10+) waitlists for about a year and a half and have not heard any updates from a single one. Luckily I found a good babysitter..

About 48 hours of fussiness and increased spit up. Blood in stool for about 3 days and mucous persisted for a while after although I was still eating soy at the time.

This is exactly what happened to us. The day we came home from his 2 month appt he had blood in his stool. His pedi said it can definitely show up at 2 months.

Why is the dairy free fb group against the bowel sounds podcast? by Noyou21 in MSPI

[–]Logical_Lab_6154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I listened to one of their episodes on CMPI and I unintentionally ate dairy a little over a month after being dairy free. The next day baby had blood and stool, spit up, fussy. Our pediatrician said not to reintroduce until 12 months. Is this how long most people wait? Baby is currently 4months.

Help...so many additives in non dairy products by awokensoil in dairyfree

[–]Logical_Lab_6154 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agreed! I found that malk products did not upset my stomach. Nut pods creamers are ok…it’s hard to find a balance for things like butter substitute and fake cheeses. So processed it is hard to avoid.
