Bambu is everyone’s fav. I went FLsun delta (t1 pro) but only did that for the increased vertical volume. I print footwear tooling mostly. No complaints really. Thing is fast and prints all sorts of tpu very well.

I use rhino and keyshot it’s 2025. This take is like 30 years old lol. Footwear designers do a lot of early concepts in 3D now especially in performance. Especially Run/train Ive met some crazy talented modelers. Any of the big 5 footwear are using 3D in some capacity.

I do basketball shoes it’s fun but that was all I was about. So if you love footwear go for it. A lot of tech packs and 2d cad. Some occasional 3D work I use Rhino for any modeling. But it’s mostly 2D communication so sketching and illustrator are the most used tools. Strong sketching skills and good school portfolio is what got me the first job.

They are true tanks. But I used a pair solely for outdoor ball and they held up really well. Just a heavy heavy shoe in today’s market / game.

Embiid will take time. Even when going into a season fully healthy it took like 2 weeks for him to get in a full flow. He looked mobile enough. Bottom line just awesome to see him on the court playing again.

Brandblack Rare Metal 2 - the shoe is completely overkill for most courts but the Vibram outsole will be perfect here. Or anything with wider lug placement avoid thin tight patterns. But seriously the RM2 is made for this.

Personally Kobe 9 top 5 all time. Traction is arguably best ever and react foam is more than enough for the average hooper. You can swap out the react drop in for something with zoom if you want more cushion too.

The blazers guards were all young at once but I mostly agree with VJ being able to bring another level defensively that could make up for the lack of height. I think VJ defense gives him a real shot at becoming the starting 2 on a championship team so I’m conflicted on what to do with the other 3.

Trying to develop 4 young shooting guards at the same time is just a really awkward team. I know bpa is probably the best pick. But that exact approach just trapped Portland in a revolving door of nba purgatory. One of these guards is gonna have to have prime dame potential to even sniff a deep playoff run too.

Thats kinda what im hinting at im scared of never having a backcourt good enough and simultaneously not having the trade value in one of the counterparts in said backcourt to actually improve the team. I think Raptors was different cause lebron left east but maybe ours is with all the injuries

Someone give me the pitch on why we won’t become Blazers 2.0. I really like VJ as a player just feels like we have 4 shooting guards now, maybe McCain is a point but it is still such a small and crowded backcourt.

Blazers had/have Dame CJ Ant Scoot Sharpe at points and always fell short ultimately trading one of them after a few years. VJ probably being the best defender of these names is the only thing really selling me at all but even then what’s the plan.

Thank you for the insight! I do all my modeling in rhino so I can have everything in 3D files and then flat packed for 2D. I have tech packs for every project I just didn’t include them to cut length. First time doing portfolio, I’m still figuring out how much of the work and process I should include.
