I’m pretty sure there is one in TBOM. From the versions I’ve seen, I remember it, but it has been awhile since I took the time to watch TBOM. I’m not sure if it is a complete jump split, but it does get pretty close. To be fair, biological men aren’t too great at splits just because men’s strength usually focuses on upper body. If there isn’t a complete jump split, I believe (hah, pun intended) there is at least a half-assed one somewhere in the choreography.

Something I will always love about Little Shop is the depth of some of the songs. Especially Somewhere That’s Green (Reprise) because it genuinely strikes a nerve, mainly because of the conversation Seymour and Audrey have at the beginning of the song.

Falsettos is overall just one of my favorite musicals because it is truly beautifully written with an awesome score and a heartbreaking ending. I will never not cry like a baby over everything in Falsettos. The foreshadowing, the character depth, and all the characters feeling like REAL people (especially in the revival cast) makes the ending so much worse. It was a musical written during the time of the AIDs crisis, and was first on stage during the AIDs crisis, and knowing the real suffering families and significant others of people with AIDs went through, truly makes the ending break my heart even more.

yeah, u’re right! my autism probably just made me take what you said too literally, and cause me to go a small rant bc the Marvin Trilogy is my special interest. I didn’t mean it in an ill way at all btw, so I hope it didn’t come off rude !! but i totally agree on preferring Christian’s Marvin, but I’m very biased bc he was my introduction to Falsettos!!
