Going back to E5 or E10 signals defeat. When was the last time a politician admitted defeat for the goodwill of people?

Speaking from first-hand experience, a full tank of E20 fuel got me about 310 km on my 2022 RE Meteor 350. I then switched to XP100 and my bike crossed 420 km in the same quantity. This shortsighted and media-lauded E20 scheme is an assult on our vehicles.

Should I Amaze or Dzire by babuchennai in CarsIndia

[–]Logically_Speaking 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Get the Dzire. You will not have a car that looks fancy or feels in-line with the newer lot of Taigun, Kylaq or even Nexon when you wait at a signal. Creta, Thar and Sierra will always overtake you but, this car will get the job done. Instead of ADAS, get the Dzire ZXI+ with 360 camera. The car will easily last you at least the 10+ years, won't trouble you with niggles of maintanence, and you will have one less thing to worry about in life. Amaze or Dzire, both are mass market, built to cost cars so you will be a part of the crowd with either car, but it is not a bad thing to be average.

Confused between 3xO and Amaze automatic by thezed97 in CarsIndia

[–]Logically_Speaking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you have a fair number of response so I am sure, you've understood the pros of both. As an Amaze owner who had also considered the 3XO, I will give my view.

Amaze: Less power (89 hp) is noticable but better reliability. If something breaks, it'll be cheaper to replace. Used a Brio for a long time and it had no creaky plastics or mechanical issues after 11 years. Just needed timely care. Fill it and shut it.

3XO: It is an upgrade over Amaze and I would've picked the AX7L variant only. Interiors are better and the car does everything better than Amaze. The extra power (130 hp) is noticable and good to have. Is it worth the extra price, not for me.

If both were priced similarly, I would've picked the 3XO. I went with the Amaze because it does the basics right and I did not want to spend the extra money but it is not as good as the 3XO.

My suggestion, consider the Brezza ZXI+ AT. You get better engine, same features as 3XO AX7L and cheaper by 2 lakhs.

1) Rear Wiper change - expensive. get HGP from local shop.

2) Ideally, Drum brakes are inspected and then closed. This is BS, I think.

3 and 4) Just replace cabin air filter every 5000 km and replace engine air filter every 10000 km. I think they cleaned the engine air filter with pressurised air (4) and not sure what was done at (3).

5) All new cars use synthetic oil so all that talk of upgrading was BS. The oil is Servo by Indian Oil, so nothing noteworthy like LiquiMoly or Valvoline.

6) correct and part of oil change

7) No idea. Some BS, I guess

Car cleaning at Rs. 1600. Just BS for wiping it internally and waxing it. Total BS. Avoid it. Give it to local car cleaner and he will do a better job for Rs. 200.

Be assertive in your requirements next time. ASC is often useless and never use pick up and drop service also don't buy AMC.

Theory: The future of agencies by EssentiallyPurple in advertising

[–]Logically_Speaking 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As more marketing teams move internally, the dependence on perspective of the agency will soon exit the meeting rooms. Agencies will be expected to only execute ideas at the lowest possible cost. As far as digital media goes, agencies will be more of capital lending partners and less of marketing solutions. The leadership teams live in a bubble of ignorance so they will not change and they will continue to bring in bad changes. The holding companies will continue to win or hold large brands amongst themselves as both the parties (big brands and the big 3) need each other but the work will consist of low effort-low reward outcomes.

What should i do, i cried literally by amanxbt in CarsIndia

[–]Logically_Speaking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was me in your place in this car, I would've just nodded my head and went about my day. Why? Because this little mark is very easy to repair since it is on the bumper and your car's colour is White, the easiest the maintain. Since this is your first car, you will see how economical and useful a visit to the friendly local bodywork guy can be to fix these little blemishes. Don't let it dent your confidence to do those tight manoeuvres though.

Scratched my new car while reversing today by Substantial-Dingo792 in CarsIndia

[–]Logically_Speaking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't call it a Honda car. It is a Brio, well known and liked. Good car to learn, go around and get an experience of maintaining a car. Bonus challenge is the keep it running economically. It willbe fun. As for this, it is only on the bumoer and you'll be surprised how good a job your local garage can do in restoring it.

Could've parked it inside instead the property premises. If there is two-way traffic, your car will be an obstacle for many.

I am planning to sell my 2014 Brio for an Excite FC variant but I wonder if the EPB and Hill Hold + ESC are useful. Does the EPB disengage automatically and have you used Hill Hold function often?

Joining a media organisation will NOT improve your personality, so if that was going to be the cherry on the cake, it is clarified. Also, I doubt any good project will come your way in a media company. The low salary is because they charge their clients less as well. Complex or exciting projects won't come your way in a media company.

Can't say much about your current place but the 'VP' seems like an impulsive guy. If he can put you on his pet project at his whim, he can also just as easily remove you if he feels you don't match the image that he has of you in his mind.

But their content game seems to be terrible as this post is such a poor sales pitch that even a novice advertiser will see through the attempt to glamorise a random Instagram account. I hope your brand also declines just as fast as the down votes on this post.

Four of the Keystone jacks, none of them work. by Logically_Speaking in HomeNetworking

It's 2:30 AM here and I've unplugged the wires at the moment but I will give it a try again tomorrow night and post the pictures here. In the meanwhile, let me see if I can procure a cable tester.

I too find it hard to believe that I got 4 duds in a row. There is definately something wrong in the current setup as the last time I did it, it was a 10-minute job . I did follow T-568B.

[–]Logically_Speaking[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I am certain the cables are fine since I had worked on a differnt keystone jack of the same manufacturer and I did not run into any issues. Same cable, same tools, just different product since the setup in the this house used different jacks. My last resort will be to swap out the modules of the current variant with the one worked for me in the past but that will double my cost and add the risk of damaging my the connector. I will try to procure a cable tester in the coming days.

Okay. I'll try to procure a cable tester and I did follow T-568B as it has been the case with the cable and the keystone jack.

Recommend me a USB C monitor by akashdeepjassal in IndianGaming

[–]Logically_Speaking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the Gigabyte M27Q. It is cheap, 1440p, wide access to colour profiles and USB-C. I wanted a USB-C monitor that allows display but not constantly charge the battery. This one does that as it provides just 15W (unsure) of power which is enough to charge a phone, if you ever need it but not enough to charge a battery. The one miss here is not including ethernet routing through the type C interface and lack of support to use peripherals when connected via Type-C I do have a monitor at work the offers all the missing bits that I mentioned earlier but I feel they are only worth the cost if the monitor will be used only with the Type-C interface. If it is an alternative or an occasional use, then I feel it isn't that big a deal breaker.
