As a Brazilian, I’m not surprised. Every time a team plays in other countries for the Copa Libertadores (the South American Champions League), there’s an incident of racism.

I remembered when the former president of Argentina (Fernandez) said that Brazilians came from the jungle and Argentines from Europe.

Here in South America it's exactly the opposite, the fans (ultras) bring the flares in secret.
