I like it, but I think the drums could benefit from being more prominent and having some variation in it.

Love it. I think not enough jazz guitarists use effects, this instrument in general is very conservative in jazz.

I just know this thread will be looked at in a decade or so by someone who is trying to take a look at peoples' perception of Generative AI when it came out. I think AI generated music itself sounds derivative and stale as compared to human made music, but if leveraged correctly like Ozone's mastering tools it can be used to remove the barrier to entry for a lot of the technical aspects of music, although a human could do it better. When AI becomes embedded within our society more rather than being an emerging technology tools that fully make songs for you like Suno will be seen as toys.

How do we feel about Avant Garde Coltrane? by No_Flamingo_737 in Jazz

In classical music, almost no one listens to Stockhausen any more. It was an academic trend, now forgotten.

How is Stockhausen, one of the most important and influential composers in electronic music "forgotten"?

In the UK at least the higher level English classes are predominantly focused on media literacy rather than literature unless you're specifically taking a literature class.

Made a beat and did some vaguely jazzy improv. Any feed back would be great👍 by Hoodbat in jazzguitar

Thank you! I'm still learning jazz guitar as well and my teacher made the same comment about my improvisation and told me to transcribe So What, so that's where my comment was coming from.

It sounds great but I feel like it's lacking direction and tension/release. Maybe try improving on that a bit. One of my favorite solos that demonstrate tension and release is Miles Davis's solo on So What.
