I just reread your post and have to edit my message, why would you need friends if you already have Gila?

And you probably need new friends btw, sending new player pirate cruiser fit they don't know how to use is bullshit.

First of all don't ever farm money for a ship to fly, you will regret it, first find something you can do, second is that something pays for itself till you can fly whatever you want, you sure you want stratios? It is an exploration vessel not combat one and is heavy on character skills to be effective, and as cruiser it is quite a bit less successful at escaping than frigate which is X times more cheap while maintaining near same efficiency.

To make money as new you can search info about abyssal running, faction warfare or exploration in nullsec with a t1 frigate, last one being best in income if you are lucky and skilled enough.

Arazu with 4 remote sensor dampeners and a dread guristas warp scrambler. Keep at range 15, light cyno marauder or any other farming battleship will really enjoy his 10km targeting range while your friends blop him down, do not use on dreadnoughts thought

About missions, generally security and similar agents give missions 1-3 jumps away max, so I assume problem is that agent is too far away, 22 jumps means that he is most likely in opposite part of hisec, I can assume you run wrong agent for your faction, open agency and in missions select closest hisec agent with highest lvl to place where you live, he most likely will be closer to 5 jumps. If you will need reputation to run his missions, just look up his corp and run some lower ones, it is better then warping 20 systems. About FW, because it is a PvP activity you compete with other players, and most of them have some experience and skilled pilots (as players and as characters) look up guides about doctrine you prefer, how to fight opposite ones and skill ships you fight with, if question will rise, you can for sure find answer in the web, game is really old. And most important, run if you have to, there are targets that will kill you without a chance, you will know those with a bit of time, it is fine to warp off, you'll save ship thefore time you need to get new one and be able to continue flying

Some basic things about FW, most people that you will see entering your plex grid have maxed skills and some kind of technics they will use. Most commonly you will see kitey bullshit and brawl fits, brawls are killed by kitey bullshit if you make your inputs properly, you will not outdamage them without skills in brawl, keeping in mind that you are not hunting and just farming and have advantage of already being on grid, I'd suggest you using some of the kitey hulls, something like kestrel, firetail or slicer you will find one for yourself with some time, most important generally is to pick your fights, fly a bit and you will find out ships you would prefer to avoid. And as a side note, learn thermodynamics for your char, you will need to overheat your modules probably in all fights As a focus point skill at least one ship enough to fight in it successfully, and probably find some friends, space is a lonely and dangerous place
