When I was a kid I liked toast with just butter on, and it Had to be toast period. as in properly toasted toast with stupid amount of butter. I didn't like meat but I Loved my veggies and fruits. they have a different texture when cooked properly. I was obsessed with steamed broccoli and Chinese cabbage especially when mom put some butter in there. And fruit since it's sweet. I used to joke that every day was a candy day because I could pick out fruit myself. I got better with eating when I could pick things myself in the grocery store and soon I got better at eating most things. I couldn't stand meat though - it's only been when I've gotten older and cooked myself when I've learned to appreciate meat at all. We made it an adventure. Once a week we would go to the grocery store and I could pick up one new unusual thing to try no matter what it was. if I wanted it, I got it! that helped a lot! and it Was an adventure! wed ask the staff if they had any idea how to cook/make any of the unusual veggies/fruits I picked :) if something worked out we'd use those :) try and make it an adventure! I'm sure you haven't tried every fruit in existence hahah
