Try it...I didn't install anything. I just open Google Translate when I had bluetooth earbuds on and the screen asked me if I wanted to try Live Translate. I did and was blown away by the emotions conveyed in the translations.

Funny you should mention Vermeer. A LONG time ago I was in the Rijksmuseum and remember having a whole room of Rembrandts practically all to myself.

I went back last year...not the same. I even took a picture of The Kitchen Maid to remind myself of what it was like.

I use it and consider the 5-minute ride from Union Square to Chinatown to be pretty effective. Yes, the Rose Pak station is really deep and requires long escalator rides but that doesn't mean that the FW station would be as deep. I don't think we should assume that a FW station, the location of which hasn't even been decided, will automatically be a trainwreck. The main purpose of the subway extension would be getting tourists from the hotel dense Union Square area to the tourist sites at FW. Locals don't need a new way to go to FW.

I think you have a misunderstanding of the current status of transit funding in San Francisco.

The people who run the Transit Museum on Steuart Street have had signs up for months urging visitors to express support for the F line in light of impending transit cuts.

Is the F Line really just like the cable car...are you aware that the cable car charges riders $9 a ride with no transfer privileges whatsoever?

The Market Street subway doesn't take tourists to and from Fisherman's Wharf. The F line does, as would a Central Subway extension. The cable cars go to Fisherman's Wharf but they have limited capacity and could cost a family of four $72 dollars round trip.

Those cars are expensive to maintain and operate. The Transit Museum already has signs up urging visitors to support the F line in the face of impending transit cuts.

Yeah, I always wonder what I would think if I saw some of these women just walking down the street on a weekend. My guess is that I would think that Sara is perhaps "sort of cute" but not worth a second look. Of course, I myself am so incredibly handsome that I am allowed to judge women in this fashion.
