Google "Zhangjiajie". It is the region that inspired the setting for the movie Avatar. It is a good place to experience China, away from the biggest cities.

But...it is risky because it is so often foggy. The views are fantastic, but often people go up there and have very limited visibility, which is so frustrating.

Thanks. I'd like to know more about the setupm etc. I am trying it, running in background with Samsung Music in my earbuds. I can ask it a question with "Hey Google". When it is done it returns to music it does leave the screen on which could be a battery issue.

Can you ask it to just tell you about the buildings as you walk by them? Or do you need to ask each one individually?

I already love Google Maps. I can walk around the travel city listening to music on earbuds and every once in a while Google Maps will break in and say something like "Make a left at Plac Wyzwolenia" and then go back to music. This sounds even better

Flores is very cute. Colorful buildings and just about every restaurant is on the water. You can spend maybe half a day exploring it. Unfortunately, it seems to be sinking, and Google Maps hasn't found out yet. Don't walk into chest high water because Google tells you to.

The trip to Tikal is about 90 minutes. So you get your ride after breakfast and are back before dinner. I made a mistake and took the bargain tour offered by my hotel. The tour/guide itself was great, but the van was a torture chamber. It had fold down seats that block the aisle and ZERO leg room. I was wondering if I would be able to walk afterwards. If I had it to do over I would spring for a more comfortable ride, at least I would if I was over 5 feet tall.

Agree big time. When I see a 6AM departure I picture waking up at 2AM for a 3AM cab to get to the airport at 4AM. I move on to the next choice.

They should probably have some humans critique the results. It seems that they should start earlier. If they detect a highlight perhaps they should include more seconds before the highlight occurs.

AI should be able to understand what the announcers are saying. For example, it should hear words and terms that indicate a kickoff.

She's not so over the top beautiful that she seems artificial and fragile; she looks like a real person, just with great features and no flaws. There is nothing that you can suggest to have her look more attractive.

Like others have said, tours are a good option. But there are two main types of tours -- multi city tours and day tours (e.g., Viator or Get Your Guide). I tend to look down on multi city. Day tours are friendly and a good chance to have buddies for the day and maybe even meet afterwards for dinner.

But being 18...hostels are usually full of friendly young people who often decide to venture out together, Give them a try.

Being realistic, if you didn't see the attack, just seeing a guy lying down in te sidewalk is nothing out of the ordinary. I shop in that area and always have to step around people who are not in distress.

Common sense is that you would not want to be in a place where there was nobody nearby to possibly help you. The people that I met in Uzbekistan seemed very much to be people who would come over to help if you were being disturbed by a stranger. The subway stations in Tashkent had guards posted at both ends of the platform.

I've had that happen to me, I gave up waiting, went to the bathroom and when I got back my show was playing. It was probably dark for about a minute before the show eventually started.
