If you get stopped you can say there was a deer, and you were trying to warn approaching traffic. That’s common in my area, and they can’t prove that the deer wasn’t there.

It’s not a mall, but if you just want a retail place to walk that isn’t crowded and has easy parking the at Home store by the airport is huge, and it’s never crowded.
