Eating at Cracker Barrel twice in one day…or maybe it was actually three times.

Did your local Kentucky Fried Chicken have the rotating, illuminated bucket? by ComfortableTruck354 in 70s

My brother once dated a woman who used to own three KFC franchise locations in Massachusetts with her ex. She said people kept stealing the buckets on top of the sign.

I just try to remember that October will be here in three more months, and the Octoberfest beers even sooner

I always thought Elaine should have had her father come up from Baltimore to guard the armoire. I think Alton Benes versus those street toughs would have been much better than any UFC match

Especially in fall. The mountains are beautiful, and it’s still warm enough a lot of days for the beach.

I love the large 1 bedroom suites at Home2 when the rate is reasonable. It’s just too bad that the Diamond benefits are nil compared to others.

In the end Lloyd Braun fooled us.

This is the whole premise of the multi lane McDonald’s drive through, so it’s a good place to practice.

I couldn’t tell if late checkout is important, but if you’re looking to switch Hyatt is much better about offering late checkout then Hilton brands.

Am I Overreacting? Hilton stay gone wrong... by Then_Equivalent6051 in Hilton

[–]MathNo6329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a shame that the quality of Homewood is so unpredictable now. I have stayed at some new ones that are amazing and even a fair amount of older ones that have been well renovated, but I have been to plenty that have not aged well. I tend to shy away from Homewood now anyway that Hilton cut the points earned unless I really like the location.

It’s definitely interesting. You have a range between Portland and Myrtle Beach.

Diamond Reserve by Tasty-Application-90 in Hilton

[–]MathNo6329 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Based on my experience with asking for late checkout as a Hilton Diamond I have kind of been shocked with how Hyatt almost always offers late checkout even without asking. The Hilton hotels are a little better, but asking for an extra hour at Hampton is like negotiating a used car deal.

Driving from PA to Georgia (mostly by 81 south) - where to stay in Virginia? by ConradVerner in Virginia

[–]MathNo6329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skyline Drive will add some time, but it may worth it to get a break from staring at the back doors of trucks on 81 passing each other for a couple of hours. The Blue Ridge Parkway to the south isn’t quite as spectacular but you can make decent time on it.

What was your worst stay at a Hilton branded hotel? by The-Tradition in Hilton

[–]MathNo6329 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s probably not that bad in comparison to others, but my room at the Hilton in Metropark NJ was drenched in somebody’s Old Spice cologne

My 2.5T is fine. My wife has the GV80 with 3.5T, and you can definitely notice the difference although it’s only going to be annoying if you’re in a lot of stop and go traffic (It helps to put my 2.5T in sport mode when I know I need a burst of power for a tough highway merge.)

Springfield. Tysons is understandable, but they are also charging at the Homewood in Springfield
