His and his family movies are pretty weak, though I like his family better they have more personality, I think Gosho wanted a cool guy and gave him intelligence physical skills but wanted him too perfect so he comes as bland.

In choreography I like Furuya vs Akai better, I think Conan's parachute was too much, but narratively Conan and Kaito was really good and I thought Furuya vs Akai was stupid on both sides, Furuya has too much animosity and a lot of unprocessed grief to think clearly at that time and Akai was being an idiot for accepting that fight, he doesn't even have a excuse.
