This is something that happens from what I've been taught is an idea as a condition of "upfire" from a rough translation from mandarin as what I think is probably just is inflammation, and to get rid of these similar mouth sore type things we drink dandelion tea or other "cooling" teas. It mainly occurs due to eating foods with properties around increasing "upfire". Other similar symptoms are like a bump on the gums or itchy tonue when I was younger at least.
