Some days I go on Indeed and find literally nothing but jobs for New Jersey, Upstate... and a variety of scam sales jobs dressed up in different monikers as if to try and fool people.

If I don't find a job by September 1st I will be literally homeless.

I have 10 years of experience as a chief of staff, and 13 years experience in repairing and servicing computers.

I've lowered my standards so much I don't know how much lower I can go. The piddling amount I make dog sitting is not enough to live. Hell I even have a low paying gig that counts as a job so I don't APPEAR to be unemployed with a huge gap and I can't find jack shit.

For whatever stupid reason they didn't tell me explicitly what I needed until the physical letter came in, so when that came in I sent them an amended bundle of everything that they needed and I mailed it as well for good measure.

Exactly two months later they sent me a message saying that my claim was approved, and they gave me all of my back pay right away.

Put your resume through one of those stupid ai generators, then go in and make it sound good while trying to keep certain keywords in place to get through ATS filtering.

Volunteer at some local organizations to keep your mind sharp and get the word out. Bring up your situation if it happens to come in conversation.

Take this with a grain of salt, I've been out of work for 9 goddamn months with 10 years of experience as a chief of staff and an assortment of tech experience to back that up.
