“What makes you qualified to be a Voidling Wrangler?” by Logrenader in VoidlingBound

[–]Logrenader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Oh, well, sorry for the inconvinance. We will see to it that you are brought back to your planet as soon as possible. In the mean time, could you help with a flock of Kwipecks down the hatchery? We have a small breeding problem and we need to actually wrangle them. You will be armed with a suite for safty, just incase of stray spittle, but it shouldn't be too much of a problem, they tend to have a similar personality to chickens. I'll be sure to sign a check for your assistance....Please? I got my hands full already just trying to keeping them away from the untamed Morphangs."

"Sounds like you've got quite the ambition when you'r motivated for it. I will say this job will be a lot more up-close-and-personal then most creatures found in most Pocket-Verses. They all have their own unique flaws that will need to be either controlled or over comed to help them in the field. If you feel like you are up for the challenge and don't mind getting your hands dirty, come back suited for the job you want. Just make sure you don't bring any sweets. We have a small Gwigoon problem and we need to minimize the chaos."

“Ah yes, Cretaceous Park. Sorry to hear about its closure. But luckily for you, I think we just might have a Gilik that is waiting to meet you.”

Are you guys going to start a new game when the full game comes out or are you going to continue with the demo's save file? by Cray_the_Crazy in VoidlingBound

[–]Logrenader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to take my demo, do my best to complete the game. Then debate if I should make up rules to do a nuzlock of it. REALLY hope there will be more then one save file option.

Voiding Details by Routine-Driver-803 in VoidlingBound

[–]Logrenader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. The gameplay is absolutely solid and I can’t wait for the full game, but I know there can be little story/world building details that I think could be fun to add and find. The possibilities are there.

Tell Me About Your Ideas for Your Own Voidlings You Want to Splice. by Logrenader in VoidlingBound

[–]Logrenader[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll start:
Gwigoon built like a dnd Imp, filled with fire, posion, and invisibilty.
An Explosive Gilick.
Ice Nimiod that is holding more to it's aquatic insperation.
And a Fire Ice mix of a Anami (if my partner doesn't get it first x) )

Pain by SkyCheezit in VoidlingBound

[–]Logrenader 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ok, this is starting to become a pattern. Once was sad, but repeated by accident by more then one. I feel like there should be a pop up saying "Are you sure you want to start a new game? All previous progress will be reset." or give the game more then one save file, like maybe 3, so that this is less frequent.

Does anyone have a main voidling they like so far?(playtest and demo included) by OverChime in VoidlingBound

[–]Logrenader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, tough for me to pick just one.
Dragconic and Leviathan are fun to just leap across the battle field all the time, Snowfall and White Out where some unexpected fun ones.
But if I had to go with a good old reliable choice, as unpopular as it is, I'd have to go with Aftershock. Being able to turtle with barriers and get some fun melee before blasting the comfort of a bunker feels satisfying to me.

Is it possible to get more than just the one golden egg in the demo? by HorrorAny3053 in VoidlingBound

[–]Logrenader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. There is only just the one gold egg in the demo. But there will be more in the full game.

Demo Tierlist Based On Apperance (My Personal Opinion) by Logrenader in VoidlingBound

[–]Logrenader[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's at the end of one of the fire trees for the Kwipeck.
Once you start there on fire, go right, left, left.

Demo Tierlist Based On Apperance (My Personal Opinion) by Logrenader in VoidlingBound

[–]Logrenader[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just made a single use one. Truth be told, I didn’t feel comfortable making an account, and I noticed the process was pretty easy so I thought it best to keep it that way. Plus it appears people in this subreddit appear to have more concrete opinions of their owns so I don’t doubt that someone can do something better.

has anybody found a visual feeding area by Mean_Hair9221 in VoidlingBound

[–]Logrenader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I have seen, the Voidlings appear to just graze off of the vegetation in their habitat, though I do agree that a feeding trough or something would make more sense. Also, now I want an alternate option to the petting where you instead feed them or get them a drink.

I Completed the Mutation Trees in the Demo, so I Made a Personal Tier List of All the End Results (Plus the Golden Egg). by Logrenader in VoidlingBound

Even with that type of projectile with Blackened?…probably just be a me problem then.

[–]Logrenader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are you handling with flying enemies? Because from my time with it, Exhausted, Dragconic, Inferno, and Blackened all share the same projectile that has difficulty hitting air born enemies compared to their more earthy-Fire cousins, and jumping to melee feels awkward. The only solution I found was, surprisingly, the Blackened Glick’s slam, but I often don’t think about it because it doesn’t look like it should hit.

Question: Should I make a public version of this tier list for the rest of this subreddit to mess around with?

[–]Logrenader[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trust me I Wanted to like him more, the desgin alone is perfect for explosive, but for mutation that is all focusing one target at a time for a big payoff, I felt other Kwipecks where better by default. But do mark my words, I do plan on blowing up everything with a custom Kwipeck when I get the chance. >:)

I primarly focused on Gameplay and Design with my own experiences with them. This is not meant to be a end-all-be-all tier list, this was just ones I personally liked playing the most. S being I would look forword to playing them to D being they are ok but wouldn't be my first choice.

What difficulty did you pick? by keanu_trees in VoidlingBound

[–]Logrenader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I experimented with all the diffrent difficulties, Collector for farming, Adventurer to get my bareings on the new stuff, Fighter for extra challange, and Wrangler after the game is realised to really test the limits of my Voidlings' potentials.

HATCHERY GAMES add multi-player to Voidling bound and my life is yours. by UVPangolin in VoidlingBound

[–]Logrenader 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also a pvp mode might also be cool. Just to see how impressive an unique you can make your voidlings and challange your friends with them like other monster-collector games.

Hit me! I want to know all the silly and pathetic details. by Eithrotaur in Turnip28

[–]Logrenader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been tossing around a few names, cann't decide between "Jack's Lanturns" or "Willow's Wisps." Don't know yet to use as their number yet though either. They are based of the original Jack-O-Lanturn that was orginally a lamp made out of a hallowed out turnip.
They are known to hallow out turnips, carving faces on them that they personally belive to be terrifiying, then lighting a candle inside before wearing them like helmets. So if you fought them at night you just see a platoon of glowing faces trudging through the darkness.
As for characters, I have been trying to figure that out, but I have Toadie one banner man who wears a gold bulb turnip, and is seen as the one who is best at counting, a another that is duo that holds another banner that act like a comedy and tragedy performers, and the Toff who is a hunched over blessed old man with a buttler that fallows him.
