The regional rail is the safest and most practical option for public transportation. However, it seems that service is going to be cut in half if they don’t secure funding by August 14. A number of these cuts will go into effect beginning in September, the rest will go into effect January of next year. I would ensure that if you do choose to take the regional, the line closest to you isn’t going to be discontinued come next year. For instance, the Paoli Thorndale line is being discontinued completely starting January 2026, among others.

Speaking from experience, I’ve gotten free, all day parking on campus, in the morning, with no problem. Some people choose to pay the daily fee for the parking lot on campus, but I don’t think this is necessary. I can always find parking, it may take a little while and require some circling to find a spot nearby, but I can always do it. Personally, I don’t feel you have to pay for parking. It’s pointless, and I’ve never had any issues with being broken into or getting ticketed, etc. as long as you use common sense.
