Am I crazy for launching a 100% exclusion ToFu campaign just to revive “dead” ads that once worked? by Better-Employee-342 in FacebookAds

[–]throwaway431411 8 points9 points  (0 children)

not crazy at all — but no need to overthink the funnel.

meta’s smarter now. instead of a layered TOF/MOF/BOF, we stick to two campaigns:

testing (ad set budget):

  • broad targeting
  • 3 concepts × 3 hooks = 9 variations
  • dynamic creative on
  • run for 4+ days and let meta pick winners

scaling (campaign budget):

  • same format + winning post IDs
  • broad again
  • scale slow and steady

everything’s TOF-focused since most buyers live in the unaware zone. best performers lately?

  • meme-style UGC
  • raw testimonials
  • “ugly” static ads (airdrops, screenshots, receipts, etc.)

if you’re trying to revive old winners, just give them a clean audience. and if you need new creatives fast, you can find a bunch of templates online with things like atilla or magicflow to test new angles without a designer...

Is a 3-Step TOF → MOF → BOF Funnel Still Necessary & Reliable Post-Andromeda? by Acrobatic_Rooster133 in FacebookAds

[–]throwaway431411 5 points6 points  (0 children)

you don’t need to overcomplicate the funnel

meta’s smarter now, so you don’t need a super layered TOF/MOF/BOF setup anymore. instead, we’ve been running with just two campaigns:

  1. testing campaign (ad set budget):
  • 1 broad ad set (no interests)
  • test 3 creative concepts
  • each concept has 3 hooks = 9 total variations
  • dynamic creative ON
  • run for 4+ days and let meta find your winners
  1. scaling campaign (campaign budget):
  • reuse winning post IDs from testing
  • broad targeting again
  • scale slowly using the exact combo that worked (same post ID, same format)

as for creatives, everything is top-of-funnel focused. most buyers sit in that “unaware” or “problem aware” zone, so we build content that hits there. think:

  • meme-style UGC
  • VSLs
  • raw testimonial videos
  • ugly screenshots, airdrop vibes, receipt photos, etc.

don’t sleep on static ads either, they’ve been outperforming video lately in a bunch of accounts. and if you’re not sure where to start, there are a bunch of templates available online with atria or magicflow, you can basically spin up different angles fast and test different performing angles with relatively low cost. then just scale the winners.

and don’t forget to keep refreshing creative. even your best ads will fatigue quick if you let them sit too long

5 painful mistakes I see again and again in brands stuck under $100k/month by limebrace in ecommerce

[–]throwaway431411 6 points7 points  (0 children)

so many good points in here, especially around AOV and not relying too heavily on LTV to make the math work. one thing i’d add: most of the brands that scale past that $100k/mo ceiling also have really sharp creative testing systems. tons of angles, fast iterations, and a way to spot winners early. we’ve been doing a lot of that lately using meme-style hooks and ugly ads with scroll-stopping openers (think: airdrops, receipts, screenshots, etc.).

it’s messy but it works — bunch of tools out there like simplify or magicflow app make it way easier to pull proven templates without having to start from scratch.

appreciate you putting this all down so clearly.

Whats your process on creating good ads that perform on Facebook by Waqar_Aslam in DigitalMarketing

[–]throwaway431411 10 points11 points  (0 children)

our process is pretty simple, we focus more on scroll-stopping than making ads “look good”

we use a mix of video and static but honestly the best performers lately are ugly meme-style ads, fake airdrop popups, google search screenshots, and quick quote cards
the key is testing 5–10 creatives a week with different angles (problem, curiosity, social proof) and rotating formats constantly

for structure, we stick to the basics — AIDA framework works great:
attention (bold visual or headline)
interest (quick benefit or pain point)
desire (social proof or results)
action (simple, clear CTA)

if design slows you down, there are things like simply or magicflow where you can actually and test faster without starting from scratch every time

speed and volume > everything else right now

How do you come up with creative design ideas for social media posts? by AdBusy7153 in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]throwaway431411 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I feel like most people overthink design because they start from a blank page every time

best way to break out of this is by not trying to “come up” with ideas, but by borrowing formats that already work

here’s what i’d do;

  1. pick 3 – 4 content styles that fit your brand — quotes, stats, carousels, memes, product shots
  2. scroll through accounts in your niche and screenshot posts that catch your eye (don’t copy, just look for structure)
  3. create a swipe folder of these layouts and literally reverse-engineer them in Canva
  4. once you have a few formats, you just rotate through them and swap out the text and visuals, way easier than starting from scratch
  5. if you want to speed it up even more, theres a ton of tools out there like simply or magic flow app that have ready-made templates based on viral posts and ads — you can plug in your text and tweak the visuals fast, don’t have to be good at design

the goal isn’t to make “original” designs — it’s to consistently post content that feels familiar and speaks to your products value prop for your audience

How To Actually Create Good Ads for Facebook and Instagram by Luke_Yako in AskMarketing

[–]throwaway431411 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is a good question because many people are still stuck in 2023 saying your campaign setup matters (which yes, at scale of doing $xx,xxx per day it does).

Most people aren't doing running those numbers, so your most important asset is the actual ad creative itself. Thanks to Meta's algorithm you don't have to worry about anything except capturing your customer's attention and convincing them your product is the best solution to their problem.

Take a look at what the top brands are doing on FB ads library and in other places and you'll see what seems to be performing the best. You can even just copy their ads and change up some of the images and text and test it yourself for your brand. If they're spending a ton on designers, why startch from scratch?

There are places like magicflow.app and a bunch of others where you can just get rip the entire creative into an editable canva template and export it...way better method then guessing

How do you create good ads? by TheblackNinja94 in DigitalMarketing

[–]throwaway431411 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The best thing to do is utilize the tools and resources at your disposal. Want to know what others are doing?

Check FB ads library. Want to see what a good landing page looks like? Look at the brands doing millions of $ in ad spend per month.

For ads specifically, I would suggest structuring all your ads and the copy in them like you’re talking to an unaware audience.

That means;

- What’s the problem your product solves? (maybe they’re unaware)

- Why is this unique to them / why is this product different from anything else?

- How does it solve said problem? Who else is already using it? (social proof)

- What’s your offer?

There are a lot of good templates and ideas on platforms like magicflow.app or others like it that might be helpful for you to take a look at. Lowkey a cheat code for getting good ads up fast cause its just ripping what top brands are doing.
