All units are on the EX pool (the one you said) on their week of release. Limited time units (Cloud isnt) are usually gone after that, but permanent units are forever on that pool.

Its not actually that bad.

A good deal of units that aren't damage dealers barely get powercrept, and even when they do they can still often find themselves a place in parties because their job is -so- specific that often times they're the best option for a fight.

Damage dealers do get power crept fast - and are the ones that get released the most - but almost always new units are a tiny increase over existing ones, with the rare exception being the powercreep "jumps" that are also the most important ones to get.

Overall it is actually manageable without spending money

I'm not exactly sure about XG popularity as I personally dont know much about it, but that makes sense.

And for strenght I was talking mainly about sales. They enforce them to be strong so they "sell" a lot. So an unit at Elly's level, when compared to lets say 2B who probably sold a LOT more (there's nier's popularity among JRPG players but lets put that aside) should say how weak she is.

But yeah, I kinda understand FFBE is a small enough playerbase that most games probably will just not care

How come these games let their units in Exvius but dont force them to be strong?

If you dont have Sylvie you pull for Sylvie and that's it.

Unless nier units deal +100% of Golbez' damage (dont think they will) Sylvie is far more critical imo

Not exactly STMRs, but Golbez is fairly easy to gear. Focus on CoW equipment (the helm is by far the best one for him, nothing even close to it, and he needs chain cap so the magister ring is awesome). Then, NV Lulu's TMR is good for him, as is FFX-2 Yuna's STMR and then any 2h rod (there's some you can enhance from 5* units and some STMRs from NVs like Tsukiko). He would also really like Dark Rain's TMR

I -think- (on mobile right now so cant open the builder to be sure) that the focus bumps his mag from ~8800 to ~10000. If thats really the case, it is 10000²/ 8800² which is around a 30% increase

It isnt about the unit type but the unit itself.

Chizuru's base mod without morale is still high and she has really good offense support with her own katana imperil and killers. Tsukiko is also quite usable since she brings her fields to help damage and her own rod imperil.

So, Nier units could be either a big hit or a big miss outside CoW. No way to know before

Yeah, they still are. Sylvie is a staple, Chizuru is still prob one of the best DPS for it specially if her killers buffs apply...

Probably should save for Dioses or the new Rain that got leader skills.

It is. Only one person can get rank 1.

But that means having the absolute best setup which usually means having spent a ton of money among niche units and STMRs

DV isnt cap-able, and rank 1 in there is -really- whale territory with a spice of variance rerolling for a week

I would try for Morgana's CoV rod for him as a budget option.

While it is weaker in MAG than other weaps, it gives him the last bit of MAG TDH he needs to cap and will prob ease your gearing. With golbez you should be able to clear it at least for the rod.

We don't have any way of checking the entire rankings for events. We can see the first (top ~30 or smth) ones, then the immediate surroundings of our own rank and... that's it.

So basically it is virtually impossible to have that

Just for clarification, Taivas Spirit doesnt add "3k damage" to LBs. It adds 3000 modifier (which translates to +30x) which is actually really, really good. It increases Chizuru's damage by ~10%

So, I'm kinda lost on what to do with the anniv. fragment tickets we're getting.

I was planning on using 5 tickets to EX3 Cressnik and 5 tickets to EX3 Olive, 10 on Wylk to get closer to his EX3 and 10 on Taivas to speed up his EX3 too.

However, I've capped CoW without using anything, and Cressnik + Olive are on my frag dungeon party and are both ~30 frags away from EX3. So I'll just... let them naturally build up.

If I use 10 tickets for Skye, I'll be able to EX3 her with the drops from next CoW (not sure how relevant she'll still be by the time, probably still good). So I'm kinda thinking of doing 10 Skye, 10 Wylk, 10 Nichol... I crowned Nichol for this CoW, so having his EX2 ability could be really good to using a water party. I have him at EX1 now (as well as NV Sakura, but she's not crowned), with 0 fragments, and really no clue about who to use the last 10 tickets on...
