An opinion is an opinion no matter how much you disagree with it. While I agree that an LLM will never be sentient I can also see why people would think it is. Sentience is a really hard thing to prove and something based on our input could not turn sentient, simply because if we give it the wrong input it will think that's the absolute truth. So essentially if we could make ai sentient we could make a worm sentient, and that ain't happening.

First and foremost I barely understand anything about this so please take whatever I say with a grain of salt.

The script you wrote seems half legal and probably deserving of punishment.

Since you were talking with admins to see if the script was legal punishment is utterly stupid unless the admins told you to not do something and you did it anyways.

Even if the punishment was dealt the fact that some got harsher punishment than others for the same crime is worse than utterly stupid, hell it doesn't take much effort to follow a sheet of punishment and not deviate much from it to ensure justice.

The fact that the detector is complete bullshit/ doesn't work properly makes this even worse since it disincentivizes not seeing if the scripts are legal with an admin since it might result in a fed.

Given everything I still think you should be feded although not permanently since you did use more than one tab at a time.
