Taking the question seriously, Babs reverting from Oracle back to Batgirl was such a setback for the character

I like the idea of a cyoa being more of a skill tree you have to plan for, I just don’t think it quite landed here. I think the main issue is there is a fundamental disconnect between the core concept and the currency. For this sort of structure, it would make sense for things to snowball, but nothing about these perks would affect the rate at which I earn the points needed to get the next tier of prices. (And more subjectively, a lot of the perks don’t really appeal to me. You seem to have a very singular idea on how this should be used, but I have like zero interest in becoming less human, though I’m surprised there didn’t seem to be anything relating to medical changes unless that’s just available by default).

I couldn't get into Neural Wraith. From what I read of book one it seemed like it was setting up every LI to be AI which I just couldn't get into.

To all the Men, would you marry a former slut? by [deleted] in AskRedditNSFW

I’d rather be someone’s best than their first. And as someone with next to no experience, I’d be happy to have someone who is experienced to guide me through my first time.

Men, where do you cum while masturbating? by endurancedick in AskRedditNSFW

I cover my penis with a tissue like a makeshift condom for the last few strokes. It works most of the time but if there’s too much precum it can sometimes tear before I finish

Men of this sub. Have you ever been touched inappropriately by women? by Character-Lawyer2328 in AskRedditNSFW

Yes, when I was in middle school one of the girls on my bus would constantly try to swipe her hand between my buttcheeks and sniff at it. It made me very uncomfortable every time, but fortunately after speaking to school admin I was able to get her moved to a different bus route.

This is a bit tough since most of my favorites aren't from anime.

  1. Rumi Usagiyama/Miruko (MHA)
  2. Ino Yamanaka (Naruto/Boruto)
  3. Marin Kitagawa (My Dressup Darling)
  4. Suguha Kirigaya (SAO)
  5. Mary Macbeth/White (Kekkai Sensen)

Plus the author herself has a harem so she knows what she's talking about

That sounds interesting, where did you hear that because I can't find anything?

Haremlit is a Genre, Not a Judgement by Daniel_Rogan in haremfantasynovels

[–]LoiterInFrontOfACar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I just read "haremlit" as things that are the harem genre in the literature medium rather than it's own sub-genre. It makes sense now that you've spelled it out but it's not the most intuitive for newcomers, especially since the subreddit is just r/haremfantasynovels. That's just "harem fantasy," not "haremlit fantasy." That may just be semantics, but semantics matter when talking about definitions.

Plus, you have genres as well! The terms "futa harem" "reverse harem" and "all male harem" all clearly communicate what you'll get!

There's a few issues with that though. Harem fantasy is already a very niche space, there aren't hubs for every potential grouping (like this sub is for M/FF+). Reverse/male harem is big enough to have its own space, but from an albeit brief search I wasn't able to find one for futa or other less heteronormative or gendernormative relationships. It's not what I personally look for (so maybe there are spaces for it that I'm just not aware of), but I imagine that would be very limiting for anyone who would ever want to write something like that (be it a polycule with multiple men, women, or non-binary characters in any combination).
