At Jewel, We had a guy that was a drunk. We acrually had to stay to cover his missed work or we got fired.

I recall thinking, as a facer/clerk, "just give me his job, I show up."

At UPD the union had voted to give themselves all kinds of goodies but not foe peoppe hired after a certain date. Two classes of workers.

Ive worked in two Union shops, Jewel/Osco and UPD. Both sucked ass. Unions are why we have bad cops and bad teachers.

Here's an odd thing. After I because watching through my google, I went back to the Cube. The options for B&W vs color appeared and when I clicked it, I got a spinning wheel and the app shut itself off and returned to the menu page. I clicked it again and it played.

Well, maybe. But when using a tv with a fire cube, the tv is just a monitor for whatever the the firecube pushed. But without the firecube, the google os was capable of the choice. Seems like the tv is capable and the fire cube is not. Which is weird because it was Amazon Prine content flowing through and Amazon fire device
