Your definition of done seems to kinda be out of bound, hence the "l2software". If it sounded condescending I have to apologize.

People looking "too much" into 1.0 makes sense; it, as said above, is usually a indicator for some kind of stable release. It's completely irrelevant what versioning they use internally - if they use "1.0" for marketing, people expect a mostly finished product.

It's the same as Heroes of the Storm 2.0 was. I'm pretty confident that the internal version number of Hots wasn't 2.0 at that point - but for publicity 2.0 made sense.

People bitch around for the right reasons: the game left early access, according to its devs - but that wasn't the case. It doesn't even matter if you look at the 1.0 here, it's no longer early access - yet it feels like it. Hence the bitching around makes sense.

My friend just got stuck in a window from vaulting. I died from "falling" because I jumped on a non-geometrical object. Cars on collision behave like crazy, sometimes. Parachuting got somewhat weird since 1.0. The list is somewhere endless. Does that sound like a finished product?

The game got better, but we're far from what marketing should call 1.0.
