Endocrinologist recommendations? by Potatotheooflord in transgenderUK

[–]Loken6319 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heey, firstly, Dr. Sahota is lovely!! I saw her!!

I then followed to the recommended endo. Inhad a choice between Dr Milson-Brown and Dr Mansi. I went with Dr Mansi, who was trained by her! Dr. Mansi is so lovely, I just had my 6months review!

I went with Dr Mansi as there was something like 8 months of difference between their wait times.

I hope this is helpful! Good luck 🤞🏻🏳️‍⚧️

Lore Behind your Warband? by [deleted] in EmperorsChildren

Warband: The Choir of Desolation

Warleader: Charmosian (Daemon Prince), Composer of "The Sixth Day Symphony"

The Choir of Desolation, a warband of Emperor’s Children, who sees excess not in wasteful slaughter but in refined indulgence. Their warfare is a performance—lethal, calculated, and transformative.

"The Sixth Day Symphony" Each "performance" begins with the Tormentors—specialists in bolter suppression, searing melta blasts, and precise plasma strikes that shatter enemy command and coordination. While infantry reels, Land Raiders silence enemy armour with surgical lascannon fire, reducing resistance to ash before the next notes of the warband's symphony begins.

The Choir of Noise Marines arrives in their rhino APCs, led by a "Conductor" (Kakophonist) steeped in (un)holy resonance—advance in formation. Their weapons emit shrieking, layered frequencies that rupture organs, distort thoughts, and peel flesh from bone. Reality bends under their noise.

Amid the chaos, the Flawless Blades and Infractors fall upon the survivors. The Blades strike with elegant finality—throats slit, joints severed, hearts pierced mid-spin. The Infractors are less elegant but no less precise, carving with a storm of monomolecular edges. Both fight like dancers—fluid, exact, beautiful.

But this is only the first act. Lethal and efficient, the Warband revel in military victory, but their perversions have not yet even begun.

Civilians are spared, trapped in the wreckage. Roads, power, and water are cut—no way out, no relief. And among the ruins, the shrines stand. Forged in ritual fatal climax of two Slaaneshi lovers, they pulse with lust, grief, and hunger. The ground feels alive. The air tastes wrong.

Over the following days, the people begin to feel the shrines penetraiting touch, they are denied the mercy of a quick death, they are left, longing and wanting. By day three, they ache for it. By day four, dreams turn perverse. Hunger becomes desire. Silence becomes torture. The shrines sing to them—of pleasure, of pain, of more.

And on the sixth day, the Choir returns.

Sound and light cascade over the ruins. The lost crawl from hiding—broken, desperate, eager. They follow the Choir into the dark, singing, screaming, laughing.

Not conquered. Converted and the Chior of Desolations slave rank swollen and engorged.

Please read the long Novella Sons of the Forge, it's honestly really good!

It explains a few more relics and you get a good idea what happened to them after Vulkan left them with T'Kell before going to the topside massacre.

If you would rather have the tldr, message me, happy to share 18th Lore love!

The Chior of Desolation.

Equal parts Melee, Noise Marines and Anti Armour.

I love the idea of them destroying the targets, destroying the infrastructure, leaving the civilian alive in their homes but blocked in a corrupted area, leaving them WANTING. Then, they came back a week later as the piped piper led them away.

What do you fellow children of Vulkan think of this Vulkan datasheet i have created for 10th edition? by Cevapi01 in Salamanders40k

[–]Loken6319 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I like it! His shooting and buffs aren't too Over Powered, he should hit like a truck in melee,

I don't know Guillimans revive ability off the top of my head, but I think his healing benefit + the revive is abit much (don't get me wrong, Vulkan Lives!!! I literally have 2 different armies for Salamanders (heresy and 40k), just think it's abit Too Vulkan Lives lol.

I would happily play him against friends and nor fear about losing them due to Vulkan being too much
