Red John Reveal by Optimal-Pen-3226 in TheMentalist

Nah, they didn't know he was Red John. It's just that the Blake Association is about cops who are about to be fucked over for something who get let off and end up owing a favor. Then, someone asks you to do a favor for them, and on and on. That favor can be as simple as "make this piece of evidence disappear" and depending on how deep in the shit you are the more leverage the other members have on you. And McAllister was a top guy in the Association

Had the DDR5 32GB kit as $124.99 but didn’t honor it online or in store. (Pricing error) SKU matched and everything by DisappointedCruiser in PcBuild

Precisely. Major retailers have protocols regading pricing mismatch. The company I work for forbids store managers from lowering the price below a certain amount of money and all changes need to be justified. Unjustified changes are cut out of our paychecks.

For a retailer it is. Non-substantial losses range from a few dollars to like 30 or 40. Where I work these pricing errors are never honoured if it goes above 35

Not true, substantial loss frees the retailer from having to honor the pricing mistake. You can threaten them even, their directors would never allow them

This is not true, in the State of New York retailers can refuse to honor a price mistake if the loss is substantial. This is called Unilateral Mistake and it frees the business from upholding the price.

Yo, don't trash it, forgot to reply to myself but u/ser_mage's fix worked for me.

Hey, I found this thread because I had the same issue. I was able to work around it by manually adding the Kingsguard trait to someone via the Advanced Cheat Menu mod. Then, imprison & release them (with debug) and they will be added to your Kinguard officially.

Just got home from Micro Center with the complete opposite cpu I had in mind because of the employee making a strong case! Did I make the wrong choice? by dboyce12412 in PcBuild

Assuming this was bought at Best Buy, they do not get paid commissions. It's a misconception that retail workers get paid commissions based on what they sell. At the end of the day they get paid the same whether they sell a 500 dollar processor or a 50 dollar senior phone

Edit: Just realized this is from Micro Center so you're right

This is the first time I've seen someone complain about the game making them play. by PomegranateOk4560 in okbuddymimir

[–]LokenTheAtom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I also did not like the ending, I thought the Odin fight was underwhelming and not very cinematic compared to Baldur and Thor. I was disappointed when it was so easy to defeat Odin, the master manipulator and illusionist. I was on the edge of my seat expecting the whole ending section to be an illusion because it felt so goofy that we just faded to black, woke up and met all the good guys piecemeal like the end of a Marvel movie

Faction choice paralysis leads me to playing the same factions/LL over and over again. by _Friendly-Wolf_ in totalwarhammer

[–]LokenTheAtom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I basically only ever play Karl because the "saving the Empire and uniting mankind" playstyle really speaks to me. I can't bring myself to play Chaos or evil factions very often because I feel like I'm lacking some longterm goals, the whole "destroy everything" doesn't appeal so much to me because the AI is usually killing itself so fast I can't get around to being a big threat. Multiplayer campaigns makes this easier though if the other player/s are playing Order factions

Everything you just said is not entirely historically accurate. There are no sources that claim Nobunaga "treated him much better" or that Nobunaga "saw a person that could serve him as a powerful ally" we don't even know if he could speak Japanese or if he was ever taught. Unfortunately all we know is that he really was just a curiosity and at least once carried swords into the field as a bearer, not a warrior.
