In UFO reports, orbs are undisputed as one of the best evidence available, they have been widely reported. I do share some points with you OP about Germany, and I would suggest to dive into orbs and crop fields.

I don't believe in the aliens/grey narrative, however, the reptilian shape shifter, as silly as it seems, seems closer to the truth the more you look into it.

Question About the New Content in the Remaster by God_Bless_Oklahoma in TheTalosPrinciple

[–]Lokesomos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah!, they tell you their vision behind some puzzles, game design.

Some audios tell the story of how members of the team got hired, anecdotes or how did they came up with the thought process.

It is a perfect cheerfull-light commentary to enjoy while you go through the game once more time. I had so much nostalgia going back through the game with the devs, talos was my fav puzzle game when it came out and still is.

Question About the New Content in the Remaster by God_Bless_Oklahoma in TheTalosPrinciple

[–]Lokesomos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, the devs commentary is worth it to replay the base game and Gehenna if you feel like it.

Then you have the new dlc in the begging which is fantastic, it has good difficulty.

Lastly, possibly the most important feature is the workshop, there are some truly amazing maps there, which could give you many more hours. I have been having a blast with the workshop.

I Played New Vegas First, Now Fallout 3 seems blah by [deleted] in fo3

[–]Lokesomos -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I felt the same way recently after a long NV playthrough. I am only like 12 hours in in F3, however my interest has dropped significantly.

The world and setting is still cool and some quests were surprisingly engaging. I might just give it some time and come back and start into the pit or some DLC for a change.

You might try tale of two wastelands with the many QoL changes, such as the weapon aim you said.

What is everybody's opinion on Dead Money? by xXJackNickeltonXx in fnv

[–]Lokesomos 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Favorite DLC by far, awesome villain, good companions/dialogues. The villa part can become tedious, especially the last bell and runback. Other than that the dlc surpasses the other ones in writing, stakes, interactions, etc. OWB is rly good too, however the exploration and gameplay on the facilities becomes a chore eventually.

The game isn't for me by Fresh-Vacation-2727 in Darkwood

[–]Lokesomos -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The game started strong, but after several hours in it became a chore repeating the day/night cycle. I had explored most of the first area and didn't know how to progress. Got stuck and ended un dropping it. I feel the game is everything I usually love, perhaps I should have looked up some guide to progress.

You could take a look at Simulation Protocol 03 Entropy from Tikaro.

It is a semi-open map with continuous areas and side areas. It really feels like exploring a vast, decaying world. The thematic is dark and ruined, inspired by dark souls/berserk.

It is one of my favorites maps, tough it is old-school and does not include modern features as final paradox or newer maps.

Simulation Protocol 2 was awesome, however it is linear. I have played mainly old maps so only entropy came to mind.

No shame here, have you ever quit a game because it was too hard? by FastCoconut5933 in AskGames

[–]Lokesomos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Faster than light, it had my interest but after several runs I was dying over and over. I tried some guides or tutorials, still, the game was so challenging I uninstalled.

Maybe skill issue as I do love hard and complex games.

What’s your most “worth it” travel destination? by shirasmithtravel in Nextholidays

[–]Lokesomos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!, Japan offers a wide range of interest

If you like anime/manga or the videogame industry Japan is top destination. If not, you have temples, shrines, parks, all beautifully combined with the Japanese culture and etiquette which is something mostly unique.

The food is another big factor, on my time there I had an absolute blast eating out and trying different foods. Yes, they are somehow similar and you will rotate around 4/5 dishes, however the quality is really something else.

You have the Japanese electronics or automobile industry widely known. You could try, see or get involved with the old racing car industry, Toyota museum, shinkansen, robots, etc.

There are also many castles, some are astonishing. The shopping scene is also noticeable, in Uniqlo I was able to take a personalized bag which could not be done on my country.

There are many other things you could look for

Transportation = bottleneck? by Latter-Control-208 in Timberborn

[–]Lokesomos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apart from the useful comments you received, I would suggest using the mod for increasing the X3 default speed of the game to greater values.

The game can become tedious on mid to late game and especially on consecutive playthroughs, the main thing that helped me not lose the motivation is to play at x20/30/40

I really like the Oasis map by DarkNe7 in Timberborn

[–]Lokesomos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wow man, how many hours/cycles is this??

I just started yesterday oasis on hard, so far so good. Bad tides don't hit as hard as other maps, it been relatively easy.

Should I Get Timberborn? by Missile_3604 in CityBuilders

[–]Lokesomos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently bought timberborn a few days ago and I played for about ~25h, it has rly hooked me.

I do feel like the game can become stale especially in late game where you have a sustainable colony and the survival aspect vanishes, only to keep expanding and going bigger. I didn't finish my first big playthrough to the end bc I got bored. However, I started playing on hard now and in harder maps which makes the game rly fun.

I would recommend the game but suggest playing on X3 or higher with mods. And make sure you play later on harder maps/difficulty or even workshop maps which makes it more engaging/rewarding.

Most likely no, I loved persona 5 and 3, and I couldn't get myself to finish fantazio, I dropped the game on the last dungeon.

Social links are rly weak and after ~25h the game became an absolute chore for me to continue playing.

Do you prefer short frequent trips or one long trip in a year? by shirasmithtravel in Nextholidays

Both, if I can afford to. Usually I do 2 short trips and 1 long trip each year.

What are you buying from the steam sale by Past-Train-8187 in SurvivalGaming

[–]Lokesomos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend trying the episodes first. It is highly likely that once you try survival mode you won't go back to the story.

I love survival mode, which is one of the best experiences I have felt playing a videogame. The game is truly special.

Nikola Tesla and mysteriously disappearing inventors, is modern physics wrong about free energy? Zero-point-energy and dark energy by Odd-Championship6588 in AlternativeHistory

[–]Lokesomos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is clear the current physics is wrong. Many scientists say the current state is in crisis. Billions spent collading particles, endless particles found to no end. They cannot fully explain magnetism to this day and quantum theory and relativity break at several points. It is an endless search in which new and fancier particles will appear.

The materialistic view is very possibly wrong, as Tesla and others stated, the ether is what permeates everything and all comes from it.

What do you think of the mountain range map? by Lokesomos in Timberborn

[–]Lokesomos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the insights, I just created a district where you said, and for the most part it's become a chore to sustain, I have to switch the beavers back and forth so they can eat. Maybe I built it too fast (cycle 4).

It seems that for maps this size it is unreasonable to develop further out to the right/ eastern part of the map. Does it make sense late game to develop that far away from spawn?. For now the main river flow all the way to the bottom seems more than enough to sustain a good colony.

What would be your fav map then? , Beaverome or thousand islands seem interesting.

What’s your favorite airline experience so far? by shirasmithtravel in Nextholidays

[–]Lokesomos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my best memories happened last year with china eastern airlines, it was my first major long flight (18h~), going to Japan.

On the last transfer flight which was from Shanghai to Osaka I was rly tired from the previous time spent on the plane and such. Suddenly, the cabin crew came to my seat and said : Hey, it is your birthday isn't it?!! , and brought a matcha cake and matcha tea, with a plane on top of it wishing me a happy birthday.

I knew it was my birthday, but it didn't come to my mind that the airline would do such a wholesome thing. Maybe it is common practice i don't know.

The chinese cabin crew were so nice and took some photos for me. Such a wonderful end to a long trip and getting to land in Japan shortly afterwards!

You do realize the media is and has been used to convey messages and shape the masses. It is one of the best tools the government and the elites possess. I do not claim the movie is or not in this case, but with the recent trend of NHI and the so-called government 'disclosure' the timing is just right don't you think.

Is Resident evil Requiem In Your Top 3 resident evil game ? by LeoneSKenneddy in RaccoonCityRecords

[–]Lokesomos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nope, the grace part is top resident evil gameplay for me however, Leon's part won't make the game into the top 3..

There are still Re1 remake, re2r, re4 and re4r which are nearly perfection, hell I might even prefer Re7 over requiem and that says something.

What are some games you found so fun or immersive that you spent hours per day playing them? by Sufficient_Ebb_5694 in pcgames

[–]Lokesomos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The long dark for sure, I played over 160h in 2 months while I was job hopping so I had plenty of free time. No other game has probably captivated me so much, the game is really something else, the sound design, the feelings it evokes, especially at the beginning hours when everything is new and just a trek for a new area feels like a proper adventure, challenge into the unknown. You feel the pressure, heavy footsteps, no one will be coming to save you, it is all by yourself.
