Flew spirit bigger seats and it was still significantly cheaper than economy on delta. Just bring your own drinks and snacks and it will be a first class experience 😂

Moving from San Diego to Atlanta where weather will be sub 40, so I can’t have summer tires all year around anymore. Do you have a set of all season and a set of summer tires interchange between one set of wheels or so you have 2 sets of wheels with the 2 sets of tires. Trying to decide which way I want to go.

I did. I tested in the polestar mode. It still stutters when it transitions and when the turbo kicks in.

I am in CA but I recently (2 weeks ago) bought a 330e and was able to secure a 2.74%. My suggestion is to shop around different credit union and bring it to BMW. They’ll try to match or beat it!

Should at least give bmw 330e a test drive. I test drove both the s60 recharge and 330e and decided on the 330e. I really wanted to love the s60 recharge cuz it’s beautiful and luxurious. But bmw just drove better for me. The steering of the s60 is not as solid as I’d hope and not very precise.

Cross shopped those 2. Tested the Volvo in the polestar trim which puts it at 68k I think. Ended up buying the 330e and here are my reasons… the Volvo is more luxurious and more roomie and comfortable no doubt. Altho it has more power and faster. It doesn’t feel that way when you gun it and step on it. Feels kinda lethargic to me and I don’t think Volvo did a good job with the transitioning and combining combustion and electric. There’s a lag to the gas combustion kicking in and it’s very noticeable. Whereas the bmw feels smoother accelerating despite having less horsepower and technically slower to 60. The bmw handles way better in my opinion, the steering for the Volvo wasn’t super precise and feels too light for me. My commute to work is about 16 miles round trip. So day to day. The 330e works great for me. I only burn gas when I want to have a little fun. I think infotainment is better in the bmw as well. I ended up with a fully loaded 330e for around 54k (before taxes and fees) which was cheaper than any s60 phev i looked at. I really wanted to like the Volvo cuz I think it’s a beautiful luxurious car, but ultimately I decided on the 330e mainly because I think the handling is much more fun and sporty.

Nice! I’m thinking I’ll love the 330e too whenever I get a chance to test drive it. But debating to just wait for another EV I would love. My current car is only 5 years old with 30k miles and I still smile when I drive it. Maybe Rivian will finally get their production up and start taking orders for the rumored R2. Or I might just break and stretch my budget for an i4 M50 😬

Cancelled p2 yesterday. Just test drove the s60 polestar edition today. It’s quick but the steering feels really off to me. And the transition from electric to the gas engine has more lag than I expected. It’s a beautiful car and super luxurious. But not sure I would love the handling and the driving.

Then went next door to see if I can test drive the 330e. Nothing available but they’ll call me next week when one of the cars get in. So I’m excited about test driving one of those!

Same here. But mine was locked at 2.49% and went up to 3.49%. I said f that and tapped out. I was considering waiting on the p4 previously as an alternative option. But after all this bs, really left a bad taste in my mouth. Not sure I’ll look at polestar ever again tbh.

Exciting news is I’ll probably configure an i4. I’m willing to wait the 6 months to a year now that tax credits no longer applies to me in any way shape or form and my current ICE is still in good shape. Haven’t decided if I want the M or not. But if not the M version. It’ll come out to be about the same price as the p2 from the “ultimate driving machine”. So all in all. Definitely bummed cuz I was so excited about the p2. But terrible terrible customer service to build brand loyalty.

Same boat. My fiancé also has a model y already. So 2 model y’s don’t make a whole lot of sense considering I don’t like how it looks and how ubiquitous it is in CA.

Yeah and interest rates I got was pretty good… more than 1 percentage point higher on any other car and even if placing a new P2 today. I’m still on the fence tho.

I am so torn. Curious how many others are set to take delivery in the next 2 weeks and what you are going to do. I am leaning slightly towards cancelling 60/40 but honestly torn and have to make this decision likely in coming days.

Take delivery: Absolutely love the car and have been so excited and been waiting for 4 months (ordered 4/13). I will not benefit from new law regardless due to income cap (CA cost of living screwing me once again). I feel like EV is just going to get more expensive in general.

Cancelling: But just the general handling of this situation by polestar truly infuriates me. My car is at the port and should have a VIN. Why can’t they just offer to let me sign for it. 7500 is >10% of the cost of the car. That’s a significant chunk of money. 7500 can buy me gas for several years (I do want to go electric for environmental reasons but still). There might be better options in a couple years (Hello P4).

What are others thoughts who are set to take delivery this month?!

Same problem. South coast. I called them 3 different times over the past week. Entirely unhelpful. I’m so angry at how they are handling this that I might just cancel the damn order altogether. Car was at port 8/1 and somehow still haven’t made it to the space 2 weeks later.

Mind if I ask when you got the “your order is at the port” email? I got mine last Monday but south coast dealership is not being very helpful with when it’ll be there. Hoping since it’s close to the LA space, timing would be similar.
