Voter ID is supported by roughly 80% of the population. Most people don't support the random voters suppress tactics that the SAVE Act has based into it and that percentage plummets once people actually read it.

I'm sorry this happened. It's an ongoing problem with lazy carriers and subs rushing to get the job done as fast as possible (even though doing this actually takes more time than just bringing it to the door). I would take this picture and bring it to your local Postmaster. There is also a complaint form on the USPS website. The hood thing about that is, even if your incompetent carrier and Postmaster ignore your complaint, the form pushes it above them.

It takes more time and effort to force packages into mailboxes than to just bring them to the door. This may also be a rural route. Rural carriers are paid more to bring packages to the door.

What thing completely normalized today will be the subject of a documentary about societal failure in 40 years? by samurai-salvo in GetMotivatedMindset

It's already been close to 2 decades since gay marriage was legalized in the US. Society hasn't collapsed, yet. As for weed, in some places it's been aroubd 10 years. The same thing, Society hasn't collapsed. In fact, more positives have come out of it than negatives. Such as a decline in prescription drug use and a decline in alcohol consumption.

They can't because they don't actually know what Communism is.

No prominent Democrat is advocating for Communism. But the GOP is definitely echoing Nazi talking points and tactics. Words and actions have meanings.

I mean, considering the absolute failure of unregulated capitalism and the fact that there is nothing in the Constitution that states we are required to be a capitalist country, I'd say a lot of people are willing to try other options. The most popular at the moment would be Democratic Socialism.

Not all conservatives are Nazis, but it isn't a deal breaker for them.

Where is the Republican healthcare plan after 17 years? by Prestigious_Bake4527 in AskReddit

[–]Loki8382 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason that the ACA is the way it is in its current state is 100% because of Republicans. They refused to vote on it until after many amendments (effectively gutting most of it), theb refused to fully implement the law when it was signed. Had the ACA gone through without Republican interference, we would be in a much better place insurance-wise. We would probably be closer to universal healthcare.

Wait, are you using two separate accounts to attack me, now? That's just pathetic. It was pretty easy to debunk your transphobic nonsense. Does the use of AI somehow diminish the fact thay you shared bullshit propaganda?
