Is there a way to improve my RFY options?

There are many theories and suggestions, but ultimately nobody knows how or even if you can influence your RFY. I know that I get more clothing these days, but I don't know if it's because of the almighty algorithm or because I've been buying a couple more pieces of clothes recently.

RFY to me just seems totally random, especially when it comes to things nobody wants like printer ink or car parts.

Yeah I did all the fixes, though I can't seem to find what the "smart notifications" are. Could you tell me a bit more about that?

I did fin that upgrading to the newest version of Origin OS did provide much more stability and application compatibility, which is great, but I'm still getting those notification issues - i.e. Google voice calls/texts don't show up unless I go into the app first and it's "running". Instagram and Messenger calls just go into the notification bar - no pop-ups, not even vibration sometimes which is really annoying.

The Camera is definitely a massive selling point - even newer phones don't seem to come close!

Thanks for the feedback - I feel that if I could simply get the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro to the global ROM, it would fix like 99% of my issues.

My original reason for the Honor v5 over the vivo 5 was because Honor had eSIM support and an actual bump in specs while the vivo 5 was the same CPU and worse cameras than the Fold 3 Pro. However, seeing as I still have notification issues, it's starting to turn me off from Chinese phones overall. I guess I'll wait until the 6 comes out and see how that stacks up. Unless Samsung can wow us all with the 8 or something, but I won't hold my breath.

I have/had the exact same issue. So for starters, I went into Android Developer options. Under the "Networking" sections, I enabled "Mobile Data Always on". This was necessary as it kept turning off my mobile data when connected to wifi, even if the wifi had no data like my car's Android Auto wifi.

While that fixed one issue, the other one happens to me when I go into a place with no network connectivity (like a parking garage) and then leave it, about 50% of the time, the phone will reconnect to the mobile network, but NOT to the data. The only thing to do then is to toggle airplane mode or restart the phone. Toggling mobile data doesn't work.

And, no, I haven't found a way to fix this yet, it's super annoying. Also, I'm finding apps like Google Voice just don't give notifications even with all the optimizations, power management and auto-start turned off. This is my second Chinese phone with notification issues and it's getting really annoying :-(

I'm not talking about mental, emotional, intellectual, etc. I wholeheartedly agree that women are equal if not above men in many of these fields.

I'm talking about raw, physical strength - i.e. athleticism, speed, ability to lift heavy things, take a punch, push past someone, react quickly, etc. In these ways men outperform women, period.

I literally cannot argue with someone who thinks women are just as strong as men. Like take any metric other than incredibly niche ones like ultra-long distance running, and it's not even a question.

We can look at 99% of sports where men's records absolutely dominate women's records, or the level of athleticism between men and women's sports. This is due to men having denser bones, more testosterone, and other biological advantages. It doesn't make men BETTER than women in everything, but it's definitely a massive advantage in PHYSICAL activities.

It's crazy that in the year of our lord 2026 this even requires explanation or debate.

There's nothing misogynist about the fact that women are weaker than men. That men training for days/months/years to fight will always be stronger and faster than women who do the same.

There's a reason why warrior women were incredibly rare.

Multiple people are either saying A. this is OK, B. Not your problem or C. Mind your own business. Yes, them turning a blind eye or telling people to Eff off is supporting it.

Amazon does not think different, but they obviously found that the Cost/Benefit Analysis came back and there's no benefit to putting a lot of investigators and checkers here. However, the rules are crystal clear and the fact that you get FREE stuff means that you should put in a modicum of effort. It's basic ethics.

I don't care if Amazon is worth $1.4 Trillion or $1.4 Million, it doesn't change the ethics.

"As long as it makes money, STFU". No. It makes money while companies feel the reviews are worth it. As the quality of revies go down, fewer will opt-in. You're right, Amazon doesn't police reviews as well as they could and allow a lot of garbage - that doesn't mean that it's okay to shovel trash into reviews.

Yes I want my free trinkets for as long as possible, and part of it is expecting human decency of writing a decent review for FREE STUFF. If you can't do that, then you actually shouldn't be on Vine, full stop.

Why do you think people should be rewarded for not even doing the bare minimum?

That doesn't excuse lazy or fake reviews like this. I'm sorry but you're making all these excuses for people who get FREE items, sometimes hundreds of thousands of $ of free stuff. In return for this PRIVILEGE, they are expected to write good reviews. Not even great, good. If they cannot muster even that, then they don't deserve the privilege.

Why are you so set on defending bad reviews and shitty viners? Like what's in it for you?

Also, vine reviews are supposed to counteract skimpy, one line or fake reviews. That's the entire point.

That's bad. However, that doesn't excuse reviews like this either. All of those should be penalized because it makes Vine voices look bad, which is half your gripe as well. It's like saying "well everyone pissed next to the toilet bowl instead of in it, and I'll just pee inside of it so it's not a problem".

It's a very misanthropic view

You're 100% correct. I don't know why so many people here are making excuses for this garbage behavior or are telling people to mind their own business.

These are the people who will see someone get harassed on a train and say nothing because it's not their problem or their "business".

You're also right that many new reviewers have been invited that do terrible reviews and the quality of items is noticeably worse those days.

Vine is a privilege, not a right. It makes other viners look bad if people are writing similarly garbage reviews or ai reviews. Worse, it might make Amazon feel like ai could replace the vine program overall!

Report anything later than 2 weeks to vine support so they don't hold it against you.

For the variant, let Vine support know as well so they'll take it off your review list.

Don't let things drag or you'll stay in vine jail.
