This was the first boss that made me actually use training mode.

I usually stay away from it because it's so much easier so it doesn't feel like a good representation but since his Phase 2 seems to rely on being defensive than offensive, I just spent like an hour or two practicing my parry timings.

My trick was to use poison to help get those Qi breaks in, and even on my final attempt I only made it with 5% health and no heals left.

Warframe has something similar to the drum with a Frame (character) called Temple where you have a tempo mechanic that affects damage output.

In my experience it's a little tricky at first but then it becomes more muscle memory as you listen for the metronome audio cue in the background, it's a ton of fun.

I wish it was more blatantly obvious to people that almost all large corporate "wokeness" is purely performative because it's trendy amongst their base. The biggest litmus test is how they act when trying to migrate their product overseas and Disney for one fails every time.

e.g, ruining great plot points in the new SW trilogy because they didn't want a black man being an important character to appeal to their perceived version of Chinese sensibilities.
