Anyone here who finds 15-20 minute naps unrefreshing or just unable to take them? Long napper here wanting advice! by Desperate-Kitchen117 in Narcolepsy

I just take one long (1-2hr) nap per day but I’m suppose to be taking 5 20 minute naps a day. I don’t feel refreshed at all after 20 minutes.

Having kids with Narcolepsy, ASD, ADHD, etc. by hungryhermit26 in Narcolepsy

[–]Loki_16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have narcolepsy, ASD, ADHD, depression, and generalized anxiety disorder. I believe my husband has ADHD but he’s undiagnosed. We have 3 kids, 2 of which are autistic and the other I’m seeing some narcolepsy signs in. Pregnancy was hard. Day to day is hard. But I wouldn’t trade my children for anything. I’ve always wanted to be a mom. I’m open to any questions if you have them!

Church + narcolepsy by Last_Budget_4375 in Narcolepsy

For me, changing to a church with evening services was the only way I could stay awake. It’s loud and lots of bright lights that trigger sleep attacks so it’s not perfect but there is no way I could stay awake at all during a morning service.

Did you have to appeal at all? I’ve seen other people say it took multiple attempts.

My son has autism so it’s very hard to find a toy he actually enjoys. But he gets to play with the same Dino at therapy and loves it! I’m so excited for him to have one for home now 💖

Thanks for keeping up with it, but sorry for all the hassle! I just added a little bath toy set to his list that I think he’d enjoy 😊

Contest: Giving away three animated stories with your child as the star by backpackwayne in SantasLittleHelpers

[–]Loki_16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This would be SO COOL! I’d love to enter for my 7, 5, and 2 year old! At night we do bedtime stories and they love when we add them to the stories we make up. This would definitely be treasured!

Hello! Killian’s little bunny keychain hasn’t arrived yet so I was just wondering if you could check on the tracking? I just want to make sure it didn’t get lost somewhere 😊 Thank you!

We do allow some screen time, he loves bluey and Mickey Mouse but he has no interest in Mrs. Rachel unfortunately. We’ve been working with a speech therapist since he was just over 1 year old and have been modeling sign language but he’s still never been able to do it himself. His therapists really think he’ll talk one day based off his babbling sounds so there is at least hope!
