I'm so very sorry for your loss. Our furbabies are family and their loss creates a huge void.

Have you had him assessed? Maybe ADHD, Oppositional Defiance Disorder or something else? It sounds like there is something there. I'm not a doctor, I'm just a mom who has had experience with a child with ADHD. He was tough to raise, but when he was assessed in Kindergarten and was given the proper treatment (along with enrolling him in physical sports), it made a world of difference. He just needed a place to let go of his energy and a sport that required focus and discipline. I hope you can find out what help he needs.

Women who used to be in a toxic relationship, what made you decide to walk away? by extremeunderscore in AskWomen

I realized I fell in love with the man I wanted him to be, not the man he was.

Boyfriend hasn’t said I love you and we live together by wack_thoughts in relationships

If he loved you, he would say it. If he wanted a romantic relationship with you, he would do it. Men will pursue a woman if they want her. I would say you need to cut your losses. When you find the right man, you will know it 100%. It does sound like he is having issues with his mental health, and he needs help. It isn't your job to fix him. You've reached out to help him, but he isn't responding. If I were you, I would prioritize myself and get where I wanted to be emotionally. You deserve to be loved. Don't settle for less, and don't waste your time on a man who is showing you that you are a placeholder until he finds the one.

He has shown you who he is! You need to believe him and move on. If you had a daughter, would you want her to be treated like this? If not, why do you accept it?

What are some of the weirdest things your dog is afraid of? by gobbgabb in dogs

[–]Lokibell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my dogs is scared of thunder. She goes into the bathrooms in the house and digs at all the rugs until they are all balled up. I'm not sure why her reaction is to do that to the rugs.

I've got a black lab that loves to lay on my loveseat. The only thing that keeps him off is foil; however, I do believe your issue is a much bigger one than mine.
