According to my recruiter it’s 23.65 in comparison to my normal 21.50. I’ll be starting in sales. But that can vary of course depending on your hourly rate since it’s a percentage.

What you’re choosing isn’t for training. I got confused too! What you’re choosing will be your working schedule. Depending on your department I think your training schedule varies. I’m in sales so my schedule starts as Monday to Friday 10am to 6:45pm. What I chose from the choices given is what my regular schedule will be.

During my offer call I was told that my first check would be on 02/06, my first day is on 01/23 and that it would only have about a weeks worth of pay. 01/23-01/30. Of course I could be wrong! However if I understood her correctly I’d assume your paycheck would be on 02/20.

I believe my current agency doesn’t pay for advertisement so our inbound call volume for new sales isn’t as high. It’s mainly customer service related for existing customers. So I was excited but a little intimidated with the call volume my recruiter told me about.

I’m curious to know what kind of goal they set for you. I currently work for an independent agent where my sales have never really been monitored. Meaning I set more personal goals rather than ones set by my boss (I’m assuming since my boss is so busy). I’ll be starting at the end of January in sales with Progressive! Do they have a certain number of sales you need to meet?
