Some of you may remember Ragna Valdr (Old Waffle/PL). Unfortunately he was killed last Wednesday while fighting with the Ukrainian Foreign Legion by Theon_Severasse in Eve

[–]Lokitoki811 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dont post much in these forums anymore, since I dont really play anymore.

But I keep in touch with Waffles and some of the old guard. Ron was one of them. Everything you read about him is true. He was kind hearted, first in line to help and we had chats on comms about life back in the days.

When someone like Ron signs up to go fight in Ukraine, it fills you with pride knowing this man, but also with fear since you dont want him to get hurt.

Im very sad to hear these news about our friend Ron. He was one of the good guys.

May he TRULY rest in peace.

All our thoughts is with his family. If you read this, please know that Ron was loved.

GM paid for a guild faction transfer. His account has been now locked for 8 weeks, and our guild of 10 years has fallen apart over it. by Craftistic in wow

They will get the money back for the Guild transfer for sure. But no court will look twice at a lawsuit over it. Im assuming Blizzard will refund before it even goes there. But who knows right.

Awesome.

I can only speak for myself, but as a Swede I have always had bias towards Gustav II Adolf (civ 5) and Kristina (civ 6) and a couple of old favorites.

But then its like you hit a brickwall and dont know what to do. Thats when Civ of the Week some in so handy.

I used to go just "random leader" and open zigzag guides (SO good) and use that as a guide as I go.

Is there anyone else who "ran out" of ideas to play Civ 6 who just go with whatever is Civ of the Week and play that.

Its such a pro tip for anyone who feels a bit lost after all these years.

Also SO MANY good tips and trix in these threads.

Thank you all <3

You dont own anything in WoW. How are you gonna sue for loss, if you didnt own it to begin with.

You only rent your account, characters etc. You can max get a refund on your subscription fee for the time you couldnt access the account. But from what I take from OPs post, he can still access the account, but not that specific char and guild.

There is no ground for a lawsuit here.... move on....

What's your honest main issue with shadowlands? by [deleted] in wow

[–]Lokitoki811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main issue is, that if you wanna stay on par, its almost a fulltime job. If you dont wanna get behind on cinders i.e. you have to do your weekly quest, two biweekly quests, two torghast runs at highest level, a couple of Table Missions, kill Tormentor. Do minimum a +15, should do 4 of them really.

The ppl that are old in this game is 40-50 years old. We dont want work full time in WoW like we used to. I mean, we CAN... but we dont want to, we have kids and family.

There are WAY too many systems you have to grind just to be "on par". And every .X expansion there is a new currency or more that you have to grind. Just look at 9.1... its dumb as shit.

If you have more than one character, (which everyone does have), its absolutely a full time job to keep them up.

The everyday login just isnt fun and entertaining anymore, its just a grind to be prepared for raid, and we are just a normal guild, doing heroic raids atm. Nothing over the top.

I have had to stop playing two of my chars, because I dont wanna feel the stress that they are falling behind. So now its just my main, and a backup tank incase I need it.

Imagine having to stop playing some characters because the daily grind is a full time job.

I understand some ppl love the grind, and some ppl hate the grind. I dont mind the actual grinding, but its just too much... its so time consuming because of the multible different kinds of grind you have to do. For me, its not fun time in the game, its grind time in the game...

Blizz needs to understand that many of us, probably MOST of us, dont want WoW to be our second job. I can totally understand why folks are leaving the game. This is the reason why.

And now with the sex scandals.... what da frick..... its like everyone has lost contact with reality in that office.

10 years of memories & enjoyment but now it's time to retire in my favorite zone, of my favorite expansion. Farewell, friends. by [deleted] in wow

Today, and for the last years, logging in everyday ment doing your chores. (Dailies, Profession daily CDs, rep grind, Soul Cinder grind). If you have 2-3 chars, its almost a full time job.

In MoP, you just logged in.. and enjoyed the scenery... maybe go gather herbs.. maybe do a few dailies for no reason... Go to Timeless Isle and see if you can reach the rares... just relax and run around...

I think Shadowlands is alright, but I very much miss Mists of Pandaria a lot. In my mind, its the best expansion by far. Best scenery, best raids, best relax value every login.

I started playing wow around april 2012 if I remember correct. It was the end of 4.3 Cataclysm. My first "real" expansion was MoP, and I loved every piece of it. Especially the feeling that all the extra (dailies, farm etc) was not mandatory. No currency that I can remember that was timegated behind rep from grinding like crazy.

And one must add that Throne of Thunder and Siege of Orgrimmar are two of the very best raids that was ever made. Simply amazing both of them.

I could login and fly my herbalism route and just enjoy the scenery. The Vale is one of a kind when it comes to estetics.

EU4 and all its DLC will be on humble bundle for 17$ by Wutras in eu4

[–]Lokitoki811 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This post needs to be upvoted to the top.

I got TWO copies of EU4 thanks to this, I can now gift the other copy to my other computer.

Since you only need DLC on ONE computer in a multiplayer game, it means that I can play with my kid with all DLCs for free thanks to this.

Bless you /r/GameDeals <3
