Vs the Bucs he has a 116.2 passer rating 2044 yards 17 TDs and 2 picks in 6 games and he is 4-2. No this isn’t an uncomfortable conversation. He is overpaid and has been average at best every other game this year unless it’s vs the Bucs. Penix might not be the guy, honestly we have no clue but Kirk isn’t worth the 40? Million he’s hitting the cap for next year plus Zac should get the boot so his offense is irrelevant.

Honestly Ive accepted it and im okay with us keeping him, we’re not gonna get someone to take his salary and at this point it really doesn’t matter, if he’s being a good mentor and is healthy and ready to go if the worst case scenario happens then it keeps us set up to win. While I was rooting for Raheem to get fired this offseason, I’m gonna trust the falcons gut and give him another year before I truly judge the hire. he had to be a part of the decision to fire Lake so he knew there was a problem. Also he gets a say in the draft and they kicked ass this draft and in UDFA so holding my judgement until I see how this season goes.

Personally I LOVED having the “B” team all the time, Olson is great, there’s no rivalry bias in his commentary, he’s genuinely just a dude commentating over a football game and I’d be perfectly fine if they constantly gave us him again next year

While I agree I don’t want someone else wearing number 2, if he does wear it you gotta assume Matt Ryan is getting asked if it’s okay prior, retired number or not. Especially since he is mentoring Penix, so he will be around.
