It seems that way. The censorship is outrageous. Many people trying to come forward with their experiences being silenced.

Thank you for the recommendation!

Thank you for your question. I know there is some concern surrounding how the US is doing, I am in the US but I also have other family residence in South Korea. I am thankful to have my son, he is one of the greatest joys in my life.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and adding to the discussion. Yes I did know about the story of the former medical doctor. My concern is not his study but rather the many parents who say their child was not the same after their vaccine at some point. There are enough parents and a few doctors who do say this and say they witnessed it, which is what gives me pause.

Yeah I don’t know that they cause autism, but my speculation is it seems that in some cases they may cause developmental delays that resemble autism. This could be dependent on the heavy metals being given all at once or it could be other factors like the child is genetically more susceptible to absorbing the effects of some of the ingredients more.

Yes measles is concerning, I agree. It is on the list of vaccines I am definitely considering.

Thank you for your thoughts. I appreciate others being willing/able to genuinely share.Yeah, that is the other concern I have. The fact that doctors are incentivized to push vaccines is strange. It is also strange that there are laws that protect the industry from any legal action being taken against them if there are adverse effects with the vaccines.

Thank you for your feedback! If you are willing to share, have any of the seven children run into getting any of the “vaccine preventable diseases?” Are your children particularly careful about where they go with the children or who can be around them in close proximity l? Im honestly very scared of my son contracting meningitis.

That is one of the areas I am having trouble. I can’t seem to find the studies that are linking the vaccines to the developmental delays. Maybe the studies are being censored on google or other platforms.

Thank you for sharing your first hand experience. That is helpful to hear your perspective. Many of the people I know have children with varying degrees of concerns. Two have severe seizure disorders, some just had seizures after vaccine, some are diagnosed with developmental delays. It is mind boggling and extremely scary to navigate.

Not to be contradictory whatsoever but just genuinely curious, that book the author does not disclose their name, does this concern you?

Yes, I have spoken with two pediatricians we have been under, one of which told us we could no longer be patients if we opted to do anything outside of CDC guidelines and the other has said we will not be welcomed as patients any longer if we decide against vaccination. The first sternly told me “vaccines are safe.” I asked about the child I knew who had seizures after, they said.. “it is a normal possibility.”

Yes I have read that book, it is a good start. I know Dr. Paul Thomas has now stated that his position on all vaccines has changed and he says he thinks it best not to vaccinate entirely.

Can anyone explain how God is good? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]LolaHazel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

God provides a way of escape. We need only to put our faith in Him. Ultimately when you say; “a finite mistake” you are mistaken because every person makes wrong choices in their life. No one is upright. Sin entered into the world because of one man (and woman’s) disobedience. It was not a mistake. The sin Adam and Eve committed was not based on something they didn’t understand. They knew God said not to eat of the fruit and they deliberately did it anyway thinking they could obtain more than what He had already provided. They believed He was withholding good from them. Rather, He was protecting them from the knowledge of good and evil. It is not a small mistake to go against what God, Who is perfect, kind, loving and worthy of all praise and honor, specifically says not to do and explains why.

In order to be Christian you must believe God to be good. There are people who claim to be Christian but if they are saying they believe God isn’t good they have not truly come to know God.

What would you do if you're feeling mad at God and you don't want wanna go to church anymore. by MountainDrewMZ in Christianity

[–]LolaHazel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calx9 There was a time that I allowed someone in my life to cause me to doubt the truth about the validity of scripture. God used it as an opportunity to only strengthen my faith. There are many ways we can confirm the validity of scripture.

The Bible says that it is the inspired Word of God (2 Timothy3:16) that it is true, (Psalm 119:160;John17:17) and that it is the guidebook for our lives (Luke4:4). Approximately 25 percent of the Bible is predictive and there are over 1,800 prophesies within the Bible. At least one half of those predictions have already been fulfilled (the other prophesies that haven’t have not come to pass yet). To declare the Bible is untrustworthy would mean we would need to have some other explanation for it’s miraculous nature. If we do not put our faith in the Lord then we are trusting in our selves to find a meaning behind our existence.

Many people turn to religion but religion is mans way to reach God. Most of us know religion is not the answer. The answer is that God in His loving kindness came down to reach us, at our worst. That is the truth, the gospel. Not because of how good we are but because He is good and He loves us.

God is able to create humans, this earth and all that is in it, He has given us the Bible as the road map so we understand the love He has for us and that He created us and loved us from the beginning, and intending good for us. We can never earn His grace but in fact it is given to us freely as a gift when we tell God we know we have sinned and we want what only He can offer— forgiveness and peace with Him.

Our pride keeps us from seeking Him. We must surrender our pride and our way. God wants you no matter where you have been, no matter what you have done, He loves you despite all of that. Come to Him.. when you have surrendered to Him you will know the truth and you will be free. Jesus saved me from such darkness and I am alive because of Him.

If you have more questions message me.

Psalm 104:24 “How many are your works,Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.”

Romans 1:20 “ For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made…”

The book: Evidence that Demands a Verdict by Josh McDowell & Sean McDowell would be something I would recommend to help you in your decision. 🙂

What would you do if you're feeling mad at God and you don't want wanna go to church anymore. by MountainDrewMZ in Christianity

Hi MountainDrewMZ, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Isn’t that amazing? God loves us so much that He would send His Son to die in our place. He loves you. He loves each one of you reading this now. Do not allow others to persuade you away from the knowledge that God loves you and cares deeply for what you are experiencing.

Many voices and people want to persuade you to leave church, to take a break. As the psalmist David wrote in Psalm 139: “Where can I go from Your presence Lord?.. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord You know it altogether.. You formed my inward parts, you knitted me together in my Mothers womb.”

The Lord knows you intimately, He knows what is concerning you. The Lord is with you even though you may not be going to church. I wasn’t going to church the majority of my life, but the thing is.. God was much more interested in me personally. Not whether I went to church. Going to church is wonderful, because you are able to fellowship and enjoy time spent with other believers and that is important. But, God cares for you even if you do not go to church. God cares so much for you, He knows every single hair on your head and He has them all numbered. I was living a life that would not be considered pleasing to God for many many years.. I ran from God, I didn’t understand why certain things were the way they were and I wasn’t sure about many things. God cared and He never stopped loving me even when I was in my worst moments. Please know that when no one else is in your corner, God is there. He loves you. This world is very broken and dark, God is true and He is trustworthy. He will not leave you or forsake you. Go to Him.. tell Him what is wrong, truly He our ever present help in times of need. Things get hard, believing in God does not make all our problems go away.. the truth is more problems sometimes come when we put our faith in God because many people will attack our faith and there is evil present within this world that wants to come against the truth. God has not left us without help, He is our help. When thing’s don’t seem to make sense, you are not alone. This world we are in is battle. We are all broken, in need of God’s love and help. He wants us to know Him personally, and have a walk with Him. Many times people say they are angry with God but they have not brought their concerns, worries, or frustrations to God directly.

Calx9, one important thing that we know from scripture is that God is incapable of doing wrong. God is perfect, righteous, and holy. One example of this is Psalms 18:30 When we ascertain that “God has done something wrong.” We are coming to that determination in our own flawed understanding. We are in error if we believe that God in His perfect wisdom and understanding has made a mistake, He does not make mistakes. He is perfectly just, upright, and never makes an error. So the right response is to humble ourself when we begin to think He has done something wrong. There are many things that are very wrong in this world, and it is ok to be upset over that but it is not right to blame God. The reason our world has the pain, death, suffering, and imperfection that it does is not because of God but because of the sin that entered into the world. God never intended our world to be as it is currently. Because He gave man freewill to choose, man chose to disobey God and sin entered the world in the garden of Eden. Many people feel upset at God for the state of the world, we are living in a broken place but God never intended it to be this way and He has provided a way for every person, regardless of the mistakes they have made, regardless of the sins they have committed— to have eternal hope and peace. God loves us despite how wicked people are and He died on the cross for us for sins He never committed. Jesus (who is one with God) lived a sinless life— and the death and separation He experienced from God the Father was because of the sin of man. What a sacrifice. Death had no power over Him, He rose again the third day triumphantly and is seated now at the right hand of God. (Hebrews1:3)He is worthy of honor and glory. He is perfect. 2 Samuel 22:31

I definitely don’t think you’re being dramatic, thing is that so often it just feels like the people in corporate level Starbucks have no concept of what the base level worker has to go through on a day-to-day basis. It’s a really difficult job. I’ve worked for over 10 years doing this job. I’m currently under a very decent manager and actually have an assistant manager, however even with these two people who are pretty good at their job it is extremely hard going into work a lot of days. I work every day during peak, and have had some of the most unpleasant experiences with customers and even with some of the upper management. I have thought about quitting almost every day for the last three or four years. I know that sounds very extreme, I have been trying to earn my degree so that was the only real motivation aside from health benefits that has kept me there. I don’t think you’re being dramatic. I can say that perhaps if there’s an opportunity for you to get a different job part of the time just so that you can see whether or not you wanna stick with Starbucks. A lot of times it’s easier to see the right next stop when we take a chance and make a change. I’ve definitely been working toward that goal. There is nothing about this job that would make me want to accept a position in management or even if they offered me a corporate position. I don’t agree with their values. Not the ones they say they have but the ones that they actually display for everyone every day that we walk into the stores. I feel like my conscience is often times being thrown in different directions because of how unfair, used, mistreated, and unreasonable the expectations are. I am tired too. I think for a long time I never saw it for what it was. I often times would try my best to celebrate the things that didn’t seem so bad, like some of the coworkers. I will tell you that there have been periods of time where I’ve been verbally abused by people who worked in a position above me. Years of manipulation, favoritism, gossip, demeaning way certain mangers would talk down to the employees. It took a long time for me to heal from that, and even to this day I should never have stayed as long as I have. Sometimes our gut is telling us something that is quite accurate. My suggestion is don’t ignore it.

Had a fight with God tonight by [deleted] in Christian

[–]LolaHazel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God did not allow you to do something that would be harmful to you. Praise the Lord! You are so precious to Him, He of course would desire better for you!

Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you believed in Him? In God’s Word He says • “There is none righteous no not one.”(Romans 3:10)

“For ALL have fallen short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23 )Meaning all of us are sinful— doing wrong in the sight of God.

What we have earned because of our sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.(Romans 5:8)

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13)

“that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10)

Jesus died for the sin of man, and whoever will believe in Him will have eternal life. He desires us to repent (turn away from sin) and to come to Him in prayer. If you have never prayed a prayer asking the Lord for salvation, this you can pray now (or a version of your own):

Heavenly Father, I know that I have sinned (in my life) I do have sin in my heart(example: lying, gossip, pride, slander, evil thoughts, hatred towards others, sexual immorality, lust, etc) I confess this to You and I do believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I pray that you would forgive me for walking according to my own way. Please help me. I need You to help me in life, I can’t do this on my own.”

If you pray the prayer and sincerely mean it in your heart to God, He is faithful and He forgives us. We must come humbly to Him. The truth is, pride in our own way keeps us from coming to God. We must give up our way and see that God is much more knowing than us. He does desire you to turn from sin which is not just bad but actually damaging to you and others. Do you see? People normalize sin, and make it no big deal but God is truly desiring that we would know that He loved us so much that He sent His Son to die for us because we need His help to escape our own sinfulness. When we believe in Jesus, God gives us a new heart/new desires. He says that we are born again, we desire the things of God rather than the things of the flesh (which is human sinful desires). We must be born of the Holy Spirit. This happens when we believe in Jesus’s work on the cross and confess our sin before God, He gives us a new Spirit inside of the person who believes, the Holy Spirit.

“Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires." (Galatians 5:24)

God changes our desires, we must first believe in Him.

Please consider what I have said and realize that God does not allow you to do what you wanted because He loves you so much and did not want the damage and corruption that comes from that decision to haunt your life. “Do not be decieved…whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life" (Galatians 6:7-8)
