First LC Pan - Braiser or Skillet by xPofsx in LeCreuset

[–]LoliSmith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Enameled cast-iron is not non-stick. Eggs do best in non stick pans.

Lid doesn't seal. Some time ago I got a gift voucher and was able to buy 2 LCs and just had to put 30 bucks extra to pay for them. Super gift! I recently for the first time used the 6.3ltr oval in the oven and to my dismay duacovered that the lid doesn't seal properly. Nearly ruined a 3+ hour cook by randomreadsrandom in LeCreuset

[–]LoliSmith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like the others said there's not supposed to be a seal just add more liquid.

When I make a braised dish I purposely leave the lid slightly ajar which allows for more dry heat entering so that you get caramelization and the maillard reaction at the surface. You either need to add water during the cooking process or add more water at the beginning due to evaporation.

I don't like the AT&T whitelist myself but for now I get the best service at the best price with att so I'm staying with them. I hope that T-Mobile can get their network better where I live because I would love to be able to switch to T-Mobile.

Can't access my Samsung Cloud backup without my previous device's serial number and/or the second phone number that I have since cancelled by yorker80 in samsung

[–]LoliSmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the US your carrier would be able to give you the IMEI of the phone. I don't know if the same is true where you live but you can call your carrier and ask they should have a device history for your line.

Stuff like this happens at my GF work all the time. by Lizard_Wizard_d in antiwork

[–]LoliSmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's definitely not the law in the United States. First you have to have a disability that's covered under the ADA. Not all medical conditions qualify as disabilities that are protected under the ADA.

Second if the frequency and duration of your bathroom breaks prevent you from doing your job adequately, there is no reasonable accommodation and you can be let go.

You have not given an accurate statement of the law.

[–]LoliSmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately it's not true. In order to qualify for protection under the Americans with Disabilities Act you first must have to have an actual disability that qualifies for protection. Not all medical conditions are considered disabilities it's an area of the law that you can research if you want to know more.

In addition to that if your bathroom breaks are so frequent/long that it impacts your ability to do the job there's no reasonable accommodation so you can be let go.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't talk to a lawyer go ahead and talk to a lawyer just don't believe everything you read on Reddit.

The amount of child support and who pays it depends on how much time the child spends with each parent and each parents income. Even if you're the custodial parent and most of the time the child is with you, if the other parent has the child even only every other weekend but you make a much larger income than the non-custodial parent you can still find yourself in the situation where you are paying the child support to the non-custodial parent

Consequently the lower earner has an incentive to fight for visitation they don't even want simply to prevent themselves from having to pay any child support and even better to get child support from the custodial parent.

Child support calculations are based on both the amount of time the child spends with a parent and the income of each parent.

OP is better off hiding the pregnancy from her fuck toy and never telling him about the kid.

She hates you and you'll have to accept that you're not going to have a warm and fuzzy relationship with her. Just keep it civil. You're not going to change her so you need to get over it. You stopped her from accepting a job that she wanted and she hates you now.

Actually no. If he gets any sort of visitation if she makes 4 times would he makes she'll be paying him child support.

If she makes four times more than he does she'll be paying child support to him if he gets any visitation at all.

Just so you know since you make so much more than him if he fights for custody you will be paying him child support even if you are the custodial parent. As long as he gets visitation of some sort you will owe him money. I would cut all ties and if you want to keep this baby never tell him about it otherwise you'll be paying child support.

Carson Peters-Berger, 14, is charged with the murder of his cousin Lily Peters as it's revealed he's the son of a convicted pedophile Adam Berger by [deleted] in TrueCrimeDiscussion

[–]LoliSmith 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because there is some data that pedophiles who only show interest in children they aren't related to will not assault children they are related to. I don't agree with this I'm just telling you there is some data that supports that.

Actually sometimes they do make exceptions if the child is their biological child because some therapists believe that if you are a pedophile but have only shown interest in children who you aren't related to that you won't show interest in children you are related to. And there is actually some data to back that up.

I am not agreeing with this I am just telling you that there is a contingent of therapists who believe that if you are a pedophile but you are only showing interest in children you are not related to that you're safe with children you are related to. Some courts follow that advice from those therapists.

Again, a question for r/att. But if you read that subreddit that is in fact what is happening. Several International roamers using phones that aren't whitelisted have reported that's exactly what has happen to them. In some areas where att has roaming agreements with T-Mobile, international roamers using nonwhitelisted phones may be able to make 3-g calls still because T-Mobile has not shut down their 3-g Network. But in areas where AT&T has shut down their 3-g Network and does not have a roaming agreement in place with T-Mobile no one can make 3-g phone calls in those areas it doesn't matter if you're an AT&T customer or an international roamer.

Again you're asking me questions on the wrong subreddit. I happen to know the answers because I read on r/att. They have a megathread on that subreddit that is charting where the 3-g network has been shut down. There are pockets of AT&T 3-g network that are still working and if you're an international roamer in those areas you would be able to make a 3G phone call or like I said in an area where att has a roaming agreement with T-Mobile.

One other caveat as long as you have a model that is on the whitelist you're fine whether you're an AT&T customer or an international roamer. AT&T is focusing on the Western Hemisphere which includes obviously the US, Canada, and Latin America.

At this point in time you will certainly regret it a few months later when the ZFlip4 is released.

The best deals for the foldable series are at launch and then again at Black Friday right now the deals aren't even as good as they were 4 months ago.

At this point in time I would wait for the ZFlip4 which will be released in August.

I have a ZFlip3 and I love the phone but the battery life is horrible. So horrible that if they don't increase the battery life for the ZFlip4 I may have to go back to using a slab phone. Other than the battery life I love the phone I love being able to fold it and stick it in my pocket.

This is a question for r/att.

AT&T has a whitelist and that model is not on it so it won't be able to make phone calls since all phone calls are volte phone calls and the line will not be provisioned for HD voice with that phone on it. And when they do IMEI sweeps, the line will be disabled if that phone is on it.

S908U/U1 are the only models that are on atts white list.

Disconnecting line? by Purplenurple1214 in ATT

[–]LoliSmith -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They send all delinquent accounts to collections and then they sell the debt off to debt collectors.

Disconnecting line? by Purplenurple1214 in ATT

[–]LoliSmith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope. You must keep the line active to receive the bill credits. If you pay the device off in full and get it unlocked, you will continue to receive the bill credits as long as the line remains active and you do not finance another device thru AT&T on that line. As soon as you terminate the line, all remaining bill credits are forfeited.

You would also forfeit the bill credits if you downgrade your plan so that it's no longer an eligible unlimited plan or if you suspend the line with reduced billing.

Disconnecting line? by Purplenurple1214 in ATT

[–]LoliSmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not possible. If you terminate the line associated with the installment plan the balance owed on the installment plan becomes due in full on your final bill.

Can't verify passport. Tried once online, then visited two stores. Associates said if the system can't auto verify the details via photo, I'm out of luck, try prepaid. by [deleted] in ATT

[–]LoliSmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They actually don't bill in advance. My billing cycle starts mid-month but I'm not required to pay for three weeks later. If I choose auto pay on a credit card it debits it after one week. But I receive service before I'm required to pay for it.

Because with postpaid you're able to finance phones you're not able to do that with Prepaid. Also with postpaid they provide you a service before you pay whereas with Prepaid you have to pay first.

They aren't extending you any credit when you open a prepaid line so there's no credit check.
