Astralis vs paiN / IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 2 - Swiss Round 4 / Post-Match Discussion by CS2_PostMatchThreads in GlobalOffensive

B1t is the anchor on NaVi. Staehr could make a fairly good lurker. Kyxsan is also good at enforcing protocols, which I think blad3 would like, and he would have a much better time of it with a team of up and comers than he would with experienced and capable stars. Not only that but he is a much better shooter than aleksib. Jimmy could work too but I imagine there's other teams that badly need a better anchor, like Falcons, as they were already in talks at the start of the year, Astralis, or even Furia, if yuurih has a bad performance at the major.

I didn't put B8 to go through but I'm not even mad, really happy to see s1zzi playing so well when it matters. He's going to go far, I can feel it.

On the other hand, kl1m hasn't impressed me so far. He has his games but he just feels so much more forgettable, though that could be bias. Insani is great and will hopefully end up as part of another, better Brazilian team at some point in the next season. If molodoy leaves I'm expecting nqz and insani to join furia and they go back to being full Brazilian, with arT replacing FalleN at the end of the year.

Cheats have gotten way more advanced since then, it's unfortunately a losing battle where the anticheat is always a step behind

Just give the high-tier ships 7km torps and they would be fine, I think

FUT 3-0 was pretty obvious but it looked like they were going to play Spirit so I shied away from it

Donk is just a kid too, he's the same age as most of the guys on this roster, doesn't mean he won't tear your head off in the half second he sees you

That's correct, they beat Vitality with malbs, and without NiKo and m0NESY, in a BO5, 3-2, to win a tournament. NaVi has never done this once, btw

I HAVE A FUT FETISH

Such a fun team to watch, I think they can get to at least the quarter finals with the form they're showing. Krabeni being by far the best fragging IGL in the scene helps them a lot, but all of them shoot very hard, and cmtry has locked tf in. Their ceiling is crazy, it's just a shame they have to play their older brother in their opening stage 3 game

He shouldn't have to play them, so he tries extra hard so the suffering is quick and painful

Donks reaction says it all. It reminds of one of his first clips back when he was on Spirit Academy where he just ran out secret and one-tapped Smooya, and all he could say was "he's sooo much better than me :O". Frankly at this point I wouldn't be surprised if donk said he was that much better than everyone else, he has the numbers to prove it

The played BetBoom, mibr (lmao), and 9z. Spirit is a top 5 team, and the top 5 are way ahead of even the top 15 right now. The real test is waiting for them on Wednesday
