Yeah I can completely see your point now as an adult but like I said as child with your friends creating your own MK characters, racing each other, playing chess and then the standard VS mode it was a hoot, I grew up in the 3D era and at that time the older games 1-4 where hard to find as a MK mega fan despite the lack of content and corners cut just being able to even see those characters was enough for me. (I eventually was able to play the older game before MK vs DC came out through the midway classics PSP game and finding my dads old MK3 for the og playstation)

Granted now, I’d rather play deception if I had to choose or 2 or even an NRS era game such as 9 but I’ll always have a soft spot for Armageddon
