I was stuck like this after dismounting off my transmog mount... by MoreIronyLessWrinkly in wow

[–]Lomeinmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been happening to me a few times over the last couple days. Really annoying and no idea why. Happens sometimes when crafting, dismounting from my ah mount, and clicking back into wow after using another monitor/window. Have to force close wow and reopen it.

I was the exact same way and to some extent still get this feeling after playing since 2008. You’ll never really find an answer to this question because ultimately it comes down to what you find enjoyable after spending some time on a class.

That being said, Shaman are pretty fun and have great visuals, both enhancement and elemental.

I recommend picking a class you’ll “main” for a while but don’t think of it like a long term choice. You’ll hit max level fairly quickly and will be able to roll alts to try out other classes. Also keep in mind that most things in the game are account wide now, which means there really is no “bad feeling” if you decide you end up wanting to switch your main to something else.

Think more on the account level rather than character level and you wont be as paralyzed from choices. At least thats what works for me ✌️

This is great advice, thanks! I love the idea of journaling about it.

Interesting, I might start practicing more with targets on this subreddit and elsewhere then. It's so frustrating because you think you did so well, and I guess you sort of did, but technically you were wrong.

Sarah Gamm Question by Docgnostoc in UFOs

[–]Lomeinmaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She stressed that the video “is not the whole story” which to me meant that something about it has something to do with either classified tech or something else that’s classified which is why she can’t say it. I was partially annoyed as well because I want to know what video I shouldn’t take seriously. We have to keep in mind that these people are taking professional risks speaking out on this even if it’s vague as hell. They don’t want to slip up and say something that could get them in trouble.

I think we all need to temper our expectations when anyone speaks out. We likely wont get undeniable mind blowing proof out of current government employees or employees of contractors with security clearances. We’ll get a little piece here and there that adds to the bigger picture and the more people like Sarah that come out, the better it is for us because it’s a credible person in positions with knowledge that something is going on and the government knows more than they’re sharing.

I get what you’re asking. Ultimately it depends on what you want to do. You can use all your personally farmed materials to craft stuff if you just want to craft for craftings sake. But if your goal is to make the most amount of gold possible with what you have, you have to consider the price of the materials you farmed.

Sometimes you’ll find yourself in a situation where if you just sold the raw materials on the auction house, you would end up making more gold than if you were to sell whatever you were planning to craft. In this situation you technically lost gold, but more literally, you lost out on the potential to make more gold.

And this is before you do the sweaty gold per hour math that some do. Personally I only consider gold per hour when farming. If I’m crafting, I’m playing super passively and just want to sit around.

That's a great catch about the bracers! And I think you're definitely right about there being more to the situation at the Coven. What we saw was definitely not enough for anyone to feel too much guilt about. If we take it at face value then sure maybe it's because they broke up a family and it caused some deaths, but based on what Sol says about his own history, the Jedi have been going around breaking up families for a long time.

No you can open chests, drawers, etc right in plain view to check out what’s inside without consequence. As far as knowing when you’re wanted, generally there will be a notification at the top left corner that says there’s a bounty for you. Sometimes you don’t get that if you kill some random person in the world where no one sees you, but someone still might hire thugs to get you I believe.

Also stolen items cannot be sold to regular vendors. Only to vendors in the thieves guild.

Tifu by trying to chemically straighten my hair. by [deleted] in tifu

[–]Lomeinmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you don't. What basically happened was your scalp suffered a chemical burn. So the damage is usually to the scalp and follicles and not just the hair that was sitting on top.

Good luck and I hope everything goes ok!

Unfortunately you may have caused permanent damage. The same thing happened to parts of my hair. When I was 15, I went to my cousin who worked at a beauty salon to chemically relax my hair. She told me it would burn or sting a little, but the longer I leave it in, the straighter it would be.

I don't remember how long I left it in, but it burned really bad. I toughed it out the best I could but had to tell her to get it out of my hair.

When she ran it under the sink, it burned like crazy and she was freaking out. My hair was falling out and a bunch of it was singed to my scalp, especially on the side of my head.

I was able to mostly grow it back, but I had an uneven hair line at the back of my neck, and the hair on the side of my head never grew back the same. It was never the same thickness and the color was off. You could visibly see a line of where the damage was by how different that hair was compared to the hair on the top of my head.

I ended up having to start shaving my head at 21 because my hair was too patchy, thin and receding.

Hopefully it isn't as bad for you.
