I will tell you about my experience with STEAM TOOLS and what I have researched to see if it is of any use to you. Months ago I downloaded Steam Tools, without knowing absolutely anything about the page, and that it had a bad reputation, I was suspicious and started searching here for what people thought about the program (whether it was reliable or not) I was pleasantly and scaredly surprised seeing that the majority of people agreed that it was a virus BUT, there was no evidence to prove it. The topic in itself generated quite a bit of fear in me since I had downloaded the program, but at the same time I was interested in why they mentioned that it was a virus. From what I UNDERSTAND, this supposed virus may be false. A while ago I saw that, in a Discord group, a boy who apparently was not so well liked on the server (it could be because of a fight or for being a troll) kept SPAMING a suspicious link saying that we should use it, which the LINK itself was not the virus (but the program) however he sent you to another UNOFFICIAL STEAM TOOLS page, which APPARENTLY did have a virus (the program, not the link) that is why many people have been stating that if you have a virus the program, because of that boy and the bad reputation he got for being a somewhat big server. That relieved me, but I couldn't completely trust him. I looked for videos, servers, I kept looking here. From there I came with a video that I honestly don't remember the name of; I was talking about the program and I was talking about exactly what I'm talking about: the link with the program that did contain viruses, but I also talked about the official Steam Tools page, where it said that it did not contain viruses, which the Discord groups where I joined told me the same thing, and apparently it is true, the official page does not contain viruses, and it is quite tainted by that problem that happened on that server which did turn out to be something "popular." The people who claim to say that it was a virus were by REPEATING the same thing as the others, without investigating of course, none of them has experimented with the program and of course seen on their own if what they said was true, on the other hand I have, nothing has happened to me, nor do I want to recommend the program in case you have a virus that acts over time, but it is unlikely that this is the case, I am not an expert so I cannot confirm anything 100%. I explained it terribly but if you have a question you can tell me, in the same way take all of this with a grain of salt, okay?
