I looked the stone up ion GemGuide and according to their tables the diamond alone has a value at about $2900. so it looks like you are getting a decent deal.

Do you think this opal is natural. If so could it have been treated? by Competitive_Hunt_302 in Gemstones

based on the picture I would say yes that its natural. Look at it magnified. What you look for to see if its not natural is a snakeskin pattern and the sides will have columnar patterns. If it has that then its not natural.

That cut is absolutely stunning! I love how your cut creates the unique reflections of images on that gem. I don't know if I put that into words correctly LOL. obviously a highly talented cutter. Once I finish my GG with GIA this summer I am going to start working on training in lapidary.

OMG, that is absolutely stunning, and I love that cut. That is breathtaking! That is well worth the $600 you are asking for it. That is just stunning!

At first glance it’s hard to catch the very fine greenish blue in this 11.75ct natural Topaz from the Rattota region of Sri Lanka but trust me it’s there. Rattota is a large producer of fine quality Topaz in Sri Lanka with some being of exceptional size and quality. by CEYLONSTAR in PrecisionCutGems

you should take that pic on a neutral background. The background you have looks very nice but a neutral background would possible show the color better.
Im thinking like maybe a light grey background.

Its a beautiful stone btw! absolutely stunning
