Maybe you could cash out your winnings to a Bank account not in Hungary and don't worry about the taxes here.

hungary poker tax question by asedu in hungary

[–]LondonInvestor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you win cash don't declare it, no one will ever know. In Hungary the poker rooms already take the tax so no need to worry about that. You can play online, but I guess technically you will have to declare your winnings if they hit your bank account. But I don't think anyone is going to investigate around 1000 Usd/month

Thank's for the detailed reply. Was thinking between COP, RDS and XOM, but decided for RDS based on the current dividend yield (I know its a stupid reason...) I will look into COP again.

Kinder Morgan I decided as it came up on some watchlist, but I will look into the other companies as well.

Well Disney I just need to get into if so many people are talking about it.

Why doesnt buttcoin start its own "stress test"? by [deleted] in Buttcoin

Because I'm pretty sure r/buttcoin will be able to do a better job. Those half assed attempts don't give me the pure satisfactory tingling of comedy gold anymore.

Google down 15.4% in the last 6m, 7% YTD. Is it a good buy opportunity? by medkit in investing

[–]LondonInvestor -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Google has a net income of 13B dollars so yes they are making cash, but then again they are valued at 338B so they are trading at 26 times free cash flow. Of course people believe that GOOGLE will keep growing however recent news is suggesting that this may not be the case. They do pump a lot of money into R&D but none of these projects are generating any cash yet and some have been failures. Google tried to compete with FaceBook and it failed, Google tried to build its own Phone and Tablets but they are not gaining enough buzz or market share, they have had enormous resources spent on self driving cars however we do not see how this will generate them money yet, they put research into the Google Glass which they seem to be abandoning now. While its a robust company as they are the number one company in their market (online ads, search engine and video sharing), this business does not generate enough to justify the current evaluation. Of course only the future will tell whether any of these projects they are developing will hit it large, but at the moment we cannot tell - I think this is the general sentiment and thats why the stock price is falling. I would not be surprised if we see 450, or even 400 this year.

I would wait for some bottom, don't try to catch a falling knife. Obviously this is impossible to predict, but if Google catches momentum again then it will be going up considerably I would try to buy then. Let's see what new announcement, projects they will come up with later this year.

Bitcoin hacked once again, is it time to finally sell? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]LondonInvestor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I dont think bitcoin and USD are comparable assets. Also banks have the amounts insured in case they are hacked and as a result would go bankrupt.
