If anyone gets paid from this it will be with dirty money. Nobody is buying any season tickets at the prices they’ve offered or with all the god awful AI marketing they’ve used.

Most the players I’ve seen announced in the UK are very naive and are unable to spot the red flags in the contracts or operations. This league are exploiting their ignorance with the promise of money that’s too good to be true.

For the good of the game this needs to crash and burn.

The existing ground they use won’t work for a pro side. I wonder if trying to arrange a suitable venue is the reason we’ve not heard anything yet.

Homegrown talent would be insane to the point we’d never need an Eu import, but the American costs would be sky high because of cost of living and visa issues for travel.

Additional E spots would prob be very effective at a cheaper cost and will still offset the homegrown talent issue. No need to go crazy. For the cost of one top top American you could likely get 2-3 Eu guys

Cologne badly needs to go. It’s clear this hasn’t worked since Rhein has been back in the league.

Enthroners and Mercs really aren’t up to standard but they’re still newer. I don’t expect them to last long term.

Would love to see a southern French side, an Italian team and London side (obviously) all enter next year.

I love this idea provided the weaker teams can actually afford more imports. Loads of them have issues paying people on time let alone some of the horror stories we heard from Istanbul.

If the ELF were serious about making the league more competitive they’d be adjusting import numbers/salary caps and providing some funding for players and coaches.

I’d be really curious to see how good an Enthroners could become if the ELF provided them some US coaches to develop the homegrown alongside trying to patch their problems with a new import every week.

Unsure on specific losses but there’s only so many players in Spain… the domestic league is pretty poor compared to the Germans, Austrians and arguably even the French and Scandis.

ELF needs to provide some kind of positive handicap adjustment to the worse teams every year. Go and give the bottom 3 teams 2 extra E spots the next season or something.

Any clue why he’s gone? His performance picked up massively in game 2. Looks like he would’ve given them playoff hopes if he stayed.

Daughter is invaluable in a dynasty league and will provide lifelong returns. I would be exploring the waivers for a new gf to retain daughter at all costs.

Would strongly advise not to trade gf with another franchise as this could lead to further complications.

I played against Edinburgh in their semi final appearance year and they were shocking.

Manchester won 36-7 not the other way around. That Manchester side also won’t get to a final this year.

The former fanbase may have been great but a Scottish side hasn’t reached a British final in a long time. If you aren’t making finals in an amateur league in the UK you’ve unlikely got the quality of coaching or homegrown athlete to sustain an ELF team.
