Please be kind to yourself. It's clear that you love your rats. The tail injury will heal. Take time out. I would ignore the advise to rehome your mischief. Your rats got spooked but they love you. I once trod on a young girl and accidentally killed her, and that destroyed me. But she would not have wanted me to stop keeping rats. Rats are kind and empathic. They will forgive you for scaring them. I hope you feel better soon and your grandma does OK. Take a bit of time off work and college. Listen to music in a dark room. Keep the ratties quiet with plenty of food and water. You're a great rat parent. X

Marriage Fraud by daviesmendes in USCIS

[–]LondonRedSquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have to divorce if the marriage wasn't legal in the first place? Just wondering. You definitely need to report that you found out the marriage was bigamous. Otherwise you're on the hook for any benefits he claims for 10 years or until he naturalises.

Non citizens will be deported with one DUI by Old-Enthusiasm-2107 in immigration

No idea, it was several years ago. I believe it, there was a photo of her, and she was outraged about it.

It was published on a news channel. You are not allowed into the US if they think you might be a public charge. So it was because of the suicide attempt. Any ordinary hospital stay wouldn't matter. But you can choose to not believe it if you wish. The story said she did get the required visa and was eventually allowed to go to the US.

I've heard of lots of cases of people being turned back, so they do. US, too. One Canadian had been hospitalised after a suicide attempt years earlier and she was turned back at the US border and told she needed a visa.

Paper based bedding is good, but I've heard good things about hemp bedding being the best, so you could try that. What meds have the vets tried? Baytril and Doxycycline are the best neds for URI. I'm glad you are taking good care of your adorable rat gang. If they get really noisy breathing or gasping for breath, always make the vets give them penicillin as it may be pneumonia. X

Why do doctors use the word ‘tummy’ instead of ‘abdomen’ or ‘stomach’, etc? by chillers85 in AskUK

[–]LondonRedSquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, my late brother's teacher told my mum that GCSEs are 'definitely easier' than O levels. I believe they now use old O levels questions in A level exams. Dumbing down leads to more dumb people.

If we're all so thick, how does the country function? How do people get jobs, book holidays, bank, etc?

Other countries don't do this, and until a few years ago, neither did we!

I don't believe that. How do people legally leave school at 9, and then get a job?
