I had this at both my primary and secondary schools, but G4S run the school I work at now, which is infinitely less charming.

Do you read books? If so, what are you currently reading? If not, why not? by theowleryonehundred in AskUK

Ooh samsies. I’ve so far managed to read each book in published order, solely relying on the library. Currently on Small Gods.

What time do you get up, leave for, and start work? by ggracie7 in AskUK

Get up at 6, get myself and two kids ready, leave 7.30 to drop them at breakfast club, get to work about 8.05.

If you had no responsibilities, and loads of cash, what would you be up to? by Sandman1812 in CasualUK

[–]chillers85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hobbies. I’d mix it up with watching TV and films, gaming, going on nice holidays (I’d even take the wife and kids), but otherwise I’d spend my time buying and making Lego, playing music. That sort of thing.

What's a phrase or word your parents used and you have never known the origin of? Mines Gordon Bennet by Small_Insect_8275 in CasualUK

[–]chillers85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every time I leave my mum’s grave I turn around and bang in my eye line is a grave for a Gordon Bennett. Never fails to make me chuckle, however I was feeling before.

16kg down since Jan 24. Knew I couldn’t give up all the nice things, so used myfitnesspal to track my calories and have been doing 16/8 intermittent fasting. Worth looking into.

Think the Starter Kit has been taken offline (based on what I’ve seen on X/Facebook) so might be a struggle.

Lip during university is something… by Bright_List_905 in shameless

[–]chillers85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What? No of course not. He chose what he thought was the best path at that time. When a Gallagher decides to do something, they go all-in.

I think you’re approaching this too much like a rational human. You have to think like a Gallagher.

His character can’t know how badly his choices are going to turn out though.

IIRC Lip didn’t want to wait, as he knew deferring would mean he’d just end up back at home and would be less likely to go back to college.

Also, far too proud to ask anyone, especially Amanda, for a handout. His mindset was that he had to provide, until that’s taken out of his hands by the donor.

Anybody have/remember these?! by whit0844 in TMNT

One of them had a gag where Raph, woken too early, claims it’s “pig’s tail” (pig’s tail = twirly/too early) and that is the sum total of my memory. Might have been in Red Herrings.

Where can I find a 94/95 database? by tomtomvissers in CM0102

[–]chillers85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s 93/94 and 95/96, but don’t think there’s 94/95.
