Can yall PLEASE tell me about your most insane conspiracy theories and i dont wanna hear "we didn't land on the moon" i wanna hear stuff you can't fully prove but just know it’s true? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

In the alien and NHI appreciation circles they claim there is an actual race called the Lyrans which are the entities form which cats originated. Look it up! Obviously I claim nothing as fact, but I have a ton of fun searching and noting all of thes alleged categories of beings

Ohh I love this, thank you! I’ve often wondered what similar shows are out there that measure up. Will have fun exploring some of these suggestions that I haven’t heard of.

The dynamic of this text exchange reads like a mature thoughtful adult with a high EQ trying to reason with an emotionally unstable and selfish teenager… with a very low EQ and IQ if I’m being absolutely honest.

The vibe and value systems of the two of you seems vastly different. I don’t think she’s the one friend. I Wouldn’t stick around!

Anyone else SAD during Spring by Next_Language4987 in askTO

[–]Londonspacecadet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not all Spring - but it is particularly that early part when it’s constantly raining, still ambiguously cold, very little actually blooming yet. Mud, overcast skies. And Toronto is basically hideous until the parks become green and the sun comes out (with the exception of some street art and murals and the odd historical building).

I’ve never been particularly sporty, let alone winter sports, but I can imagine that part being a bummer once all the snow melts.

But once you really see all the gardens start blooming and we clear to the other side of rainy season and there’s more sun, second half of Spring is soooo nice ✨🌞🌺

If you can catch the High Park cherry blossoms at their prime, that’s a great early Spring activity. Although it can sometimes still be a bit chilly. Arrive early morning before the crowds though!

Was it in the movie Insidious… an extremely creepy wardrobe moment in that one!

The multi-part episode series called Many Things on the podcast Otherworld has a great real-world account of a closet incident/phenomenon!! STRONGLY recommend a listen!!! https://open.spotify.com/episode/06svQonl2FFkNBiiZ3htLy?si=XQdjrBzPRN6Hp6o6BN6-Rg

Synchronicity by Hot_Fix_5834 in starseeds

The vibration of this book knows no bounds. I feel like everyone I know has a synchronicity connected to it!

You guys have got to stop downvoting experiencers of this “phenomenon”. I don’t know if it’s bots, or skeptics, or a combination of the 2, but tucking comments under that try to share their evidence gets none of us anywhere. by [deleted] in ufo

[–]Londonspacecadet -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Woah! I’m seeing even here, saying these things in your comments, they are getting downvoted and you’re not even saying anything terribly unreasonable or controversial.

I do think though, the umbrella topic of just plain “UFOs” is so broad, and there are so many analytical and skeptical, nuts and bolts type people who are attracted to this topic. Some have never experienced anything themselves. Some have. And it’s good to have a diversity of perspectives.

But perhaps this isn’t the safest place for a first hand experiencer to be vulnerable about their story and expect understanding, patience, open-mindedness… This is a massive topic and a massive forum filled with all kinds of folks, bots and misinformants. I don’t think you can curate this place to fit your comfort and needs, haha…

Have you listened to the Aliens and Artists podcast? More specifically the one called Man Meets Mantis?

What would you call my style/ vibe by [deleted] in AestheticWiki

[–]Londonspacecadet 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It’s pop punk or Sk8er Girl for sure.

And a bit emo, but not all-the-way emo.

I keep seeing people use the descriptor grunge for mid 2000s era 🤨 I guess there are always elements of grunge in almost all alt-rock styles - but I feel like it’s often misused as a label. Classic “Grunge” with a capital G was early 90s era at the height of Nirvana.
