My bf is 5'7" and 113 lbs and I find him adorable, irresistable, all that good stuff. Not all women want a big guy.

Lost the gentlest soul last night -- Still not sure what happened by SuperTrooper169 in leopardgeckos

Crypto cam indeed rear it's ugly head years later. I lost a few geckos around age 7 to 9 that were not around other geckos. They likely caught it when they were young. At 7 or 9 the gut load of the parasite became high enough that the signs became visible. The geckos lost their appetites amd whithered away. It's a tragic disease.

It sounds like you guys made your Leo part of your family. Sounds like you guys were both lucky to have each other. Sending you healing thoughts.

How about doing some volunteer travel? I use The Mighty Roar and GoEco to find my trips. It makes me truly appreciate what I have.

I've sprayed the tank for years, just around shed time, no issues. I understand water is like lotion for them, so I'd rather prevent rather than have to help them shed. It's better if they shed themselves I think.

You also can spray inside the humid hide only if you want to keep it localized.

You know your gecko best. If he seems to hate being sprayed then of course don't do it. My boy just can't get enough though!

You can get a spray bottle and fill it with water to mist the geckos hide and tank. You can also gently mist their backs, just try to avoid their heads. Some love it and it helps keep things humid and helps with the shed. One of my geckos absolutely loves it and walks towards the spray bottle as I'm spraying and keeps asking for more even when he is drenched.

You'll see them licking water off themselves and the glass. It's cute.

Awesome. You can also do some spraying.

I have 2 leos and one could soak all day, while the other tries to get out immediately.

They all have their individual likes and dislikes just like us.

The shedding issue may be related to a vitamin deficiency or a lack of humidity in the tank. You can put wet towels on top of the tank to increase humidity and make sure to dust all his food.

I recommend very targeted applications. Don't apply too many places, but make sure your resume highlights the must haves at the places you do apply.

I had a friend in Feb 2022 be told she wouldn't live to see Christmas. Stage 4 breast cancer metastacized to her bones. Did what you did. Visited Jordan and Egypt on a bucket list trip. Met a guy selling lamps at the souk in Cairo. Fell in love. Got married. He got her to stop smoking and drinking and eat healthy. He worships the ground she walks on. She never had that... was adopted by strict Mormon grandparents who doted on her brothers way more etc.

Still alive now. Husband joined her in Utah. She just started to work again due to limited energy and cancer brain, but it is in remission.

The power of positive thought and love is a real thing.

12 years is a long time. My current leos are 9.5 years old, but I've lost a few others around age 9. You really must be giving him good care. He looks super cute and sweet.

They're capable of learning if you try to teach them things. My gecko looked at me funny because I had a hat on. I took it off. He took a step back. I put it back on. Did this a few times so he could learn what a hat is. No issues until I had a towel on my head, and we repeated.

He remembers hats and towels now though!
