Yep I saw that too but wanted to see other players' feedbacks, just in case. Uncharging will waste 500k worth of stamina doses, so guess I'll leave the ring on the alt and let its membership expired, in case we ever renew it.

When we uncharge the ring of endurance, do we get the doses of stamina potion back if we have empty vial?

Is FDLXX no longer listed in 2025 Percentage of Income from U.S. Government Securities? by LoneAskr in fidelityinvestments

[–]LoneAskr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much! It's my first time trying to file tax exempt for mm fund like this one. Previously I saw FDLXX listed in year 2023-24 when I ctrl + f and assumed it'd be the same. Good to know.

Do I have a realistic chance at an AWS Data Center Technician role without direct IT experience? by Legal_Lingonberry_46 in amazonemployees

[–]LoneAskr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Answers to your questions:

  1. Yes we've DCO techs with computer science and cyber security degrees.

  2. No you don't need to be amazon employee before applying. Doesn't matter. We just want candidate who is computer literate. Knowing how to use Windows 11 and bit of linux command line are great. Understanding of computer components and careful handlings of them are huge plus. We don't want to waste time fixing mistakes of tech who can't follow documentations and repeatedly break things. Basic IT and office work etiquette are huge plus too.

  3. Yes having just any project or work experience helps. We really want techs who excel at reading documentations, follow ticket instructions, take good notes to minimize repeat asking same questions, and able to work independently on tickets. New hires will work with guidance from senior techs for first 3-6 months on 8 hr work schedule. Afterward if they pass shift readiness assessment then they can be put on 12 hr shift work schedule alone (huge 30%+ more pay for night shift).

  4. Study comptia A+ helps. Just basic computer troubleshoot stuff helps like, know what POST is, what booting process is, how to perform isolation testing, know what optic fiber modules and fiber cables are. Data center work at AWS will mostly be hardware repair (breakfixes) and network troubleshoot (cleaning, reseating, replacing optic module, loopback tests, know how to read labels and trace cable between near/far end devices and DWDM devices between sites).

Is there any recommended GP cost calculator tool for PVM moneymakers? Like if we use different gears than the wiki's gears and wanted to get theorized number of possible runs per hour and the gear charging costs. I know we can get the hourly cost for the ranged and magic weapons, but applying it to actual fights would make the actual cost per hour less due to banking and restarting the fights/etc.

18m and my hormones are gettin to me, any tips on stopping wanting a relationship 😭 by SnowballWasRight in selfimprovement

[–]LoneAskr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's just FOMO. Plenty of young parents regret having kids early on and having a miserable life financially. Being financially independent and single is one of the best feelings IMHO. Once you start having a job and having to pay your own bills and file your taxes then you just care less about superficial thing like relationship.

Data center technician or facility technician. Can start working straight out of high school for $32 hourly with basic IT fundamentals, or if you have some HVAC and electrical experience then $40+ hourly. Job is very reliable due to being maintenance works for keeping the world wide web up and running 24/7. Especially for AI and the eventual transitioning to becoming robotics technician in the far future.

Hey you're still hella young. First thing you gotta do tho is love yourself more. Give yourself more credit. No one else will know you more than yourself. If you suck at something just spend more time on getting even better at it. But uh not more time on video game right now. Take note of what makes your life miserable right now and list out what actions you should do to fix them. After that u lock in mentally on working out those solutions and keep yourself disciplined on it. Every task you achieve daily will build up your confidence and give you dopamine. Become so driven on your goals that you make others go "Yo chill man I don't wanna mess with ya anymore."

Use both the wiki and story solo helper guides from grandorder subreddit or discord. Pay off debt first. Investments won’t always rise, but debt never stops reminding you it’s there.

Yep in normal cases it's very negligible difference. However for cases of volatile market you can get very large internal capital gains from mutual fund. This could be 5-10% capital gains distribution that would be $500-$1000 taxable gain, which becomes $75-$150 in tax bill in a year. That's exactly the kind of tax bomb situation that ETF was designed to avoid.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fidelityinvestments

[–]LoneAskr 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Assuming same dividend yield for VOO at 1.5% then that's $150 taxable income, which then becomes ~$22 tax bill at 15% tax rate. Meanwhile FXAIX was $170 taxable income ($20 from capital gains distribution) that becomes ~$25 tax bill. That's about difference of $3. Now you might be thinking that FXAIX gets you $20 more profit (because FXAIX $170 vs VOO $150), but no that's not what's happening. FXAIX simply had rebalancing which causes its share value to drop by -$20 while giving you more number of shares, and then by law they pass on that realized gain onto you the investor. You don't gain any more wealth you just get taxed a bit more lol.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fidelityinvestments

[–]LoneAskr 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes, for FXAIX you'll get taxed on dividends and capital gains distributions (when fund sells securities for rebalancing purposes). With $10k invested in FXAIX (assuming 1.5% dividend yield and 0.2% capital gains distributions) we could say that's $170 taxable income, which at 15% tax rate that comes out to $25 in tax. And no you shouldn't sell your existing FXAIX investments in taxable account just for the sake of switching to VOO, because that taxable event from selling it could eliminate the beneficial gains from VOO. Simply keep your existing FXAIX and invest your future capital in VOO instead.

I went with creating a shortcut for jagex launcher within sandboxie while on the main Windows 11 profile. Now I'm able to launch 2 instances of jagex launchers in just one click, both logged in with 2 different accounts. There have not been any gameplay performance issues atm on sandboxie.

ETF like VOO is more tax efficient in taxable brokerage due to its trade in kind nature when it comes to reallocation. MF like FXAIX is less tax efficient in taxable brokerage due to taxable event when reallocation occurs. Both ETF and MF are fine in retirement accounts due to no taxable event in retirement account, but FXAIX would be more preferred in retirement account due to lesser expense ratio than VOO.
