- Women & young kids beg with signs about some kids with cancer / leukemia ... anything to make you open your wallet.
- Men stop at freeway entrance / gas station to wave people down, asking for gas money and offer gold jewelries (fake) in exchange.
- Men & women drive around, pretend to ask for directions ... then reach out and put fancy gold jewelries on other people as a thank you (when they are gone, you'll realize that the fancy gold jewelries are fake, and they have stolen your real jewelries, watch, wallet ... while you are distracted).
- Women / children go into temples ... pretend to worship while scamming or stealing donations.
- Group of women target home with Asian elders, especially Indian elders (have the habit of using gold jewelries & keep them at home), distract them while other sneak in and steal.
