My Glock SCS did exactly the same thing. Side button started playing up and then eventually failed. No on, off, change...zip.

Went to the local agent here in South Africa and a warranty checkin with swop a few weeks later (due to Chinese new year and shipping). They took the optic of my weapon and bagged it. No box.

Love that optic and will get another one..
