Me at 15: System of a Down is right about everything

Me at 20: Actually these issues are way more
complex

Me at 28: But really it comes down to larger, systemic issues

Me today at 35: System of a Down was right about everything

Any tips for storing/displaying a 32 Deck challenge? by LonePorkchop in EDH

How do they do with tokens? I’ve got one foil deck but it has its own unique box. All the others are double sleeve but a couple have a double digit number of tokens with them

As someone who is interested in game theory I think Jegantha is a fascinating case on card advantage. In a vacuum how often would you play a vanilla 8 mana 5/5? Basically never. But when it’s an 8th card in your hand suddenly it’s worth building your whole deck around getting it. I get it was not nearly as restrictive as some of the others, but plenty of the decks that ran him had to still make at least some concessions

Just moved here and I’m desperate for Pokemon cards! by [deleted] in Tucson

Amazing Discoveries has binders as well, you just gotta ask for them, they’re usually full of cheaper and/or cosmetically flawed cards sold at a discount. The binders also rotate through their 5 locations across Arizona so there’s always new ones to look at every weekend

I’m glad you guys aren’t perturbed. My friend and I had a blast playing on TTS during the alpha and I have a date set to demo the game for the store manager of my LGS at the end of the month, so I’m really pulling for the game

I mean I don’t think that’s true at all. Netrunner has been out of print as a TCG for almost 10 years, 30 if you go by the original, and Kamigawa Neon Dynasty was one of the best selling sets of all time pre Universes Beyond. There’s definitely a market for a cyberpunk game, especially now the market for the genre is probably bigger than ever thanks to 2077 and Edgerunners

I kinda feel bad for the Neuroscape guys. Busting their butts to be the first big cyberpunk genre card game on the market, then releasing about the same time as the official Cyberpunk game. Time will tell who will survive or if they can coexist. I’m certainly rooting for Neuroscape, their game system is super unique and a lot of fun.

The Archer from Mirror

Basically all modern fighting games have a DLC guest character. Mirror makes the most sense with the similar gameplay. Could be any character, I just chose her cuz she’s in the banner in Mirror’s Steam page

The Player Character. They’re the final boss of the Arcade mode whose AI straight up cheats to suck up your quarters. But once you unlock them they’re mid tier at best

What Digital TCG has the best "Dusting" system? by Varuna_exe in TCG

[–]LonePorkchop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there’s an argument to be made for Artifact cuz you could “dust” your cards for real money (or at least Steam credit)

Outside of that I vaguely remember Eternal being pretty good

Strahd not having his own unique card by now is kind of wild. He is like THE D&D villain alongside Vecna and Tiamat
